Cozy and peaceful place to stay, we really enjoyed our stay there. Clear instructions to follow and quiet place, beautiful view and you feel like at home and can relax. All the amenities that you need.

Greeted as soon as arrived. Brand new house on beautiful property. Room with Ensuite was large and well equipped. Property very quiet. Bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend for quiet stay.

Solo traveller. Place was safe and clean. 3 other couples were staying at the same time but we all came at different times. Definitely need a car to get to their place. Owners had great instructions to get to their place and replied quickly on Expedia messaging platform. Stayed one night. Very quiet. One shared bathroom/shower. Nice view. Booked on short notice and was able to communicate everything needed for a quick one night trip. Has a hammock and hanging chair hammocks overlooking the hill. 3 parking spots for the 3 rooms available. Car was safe. Would stay here again.

Somewhat challenging to find. Hot tub was not for our use. Shared kitchen. Posted warning not to have long showers or they could run out of water. Posted suggestion that if you want privacy and intimate moments that it's not a good place because the walls are too thin. Beautiful view as it's quite high up a mountain. Bed was comfortable.

What a lovely little mountain oasis! Very clean, spectacular view especially at sunrise! Emphasis is on sleep and relaxation - quiet hours from 10 PM-9AM. Bring a few groceries and make use of the kitchenette for dinner and breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Need to walk a long staircase to get to the rooms, but then very easy to move around. Saw our hostess once very briefly and she was lovely. A bit of an adventure getting up the mountain and down the driveway, but well worth it, even just for the night!

Really enjoyed our night here. Very comfortable bed and room. Very remote so extremely quiet and incredibly dark at night for those from the city that want a getaway. Loved the self check in and out and welcoming space. Thanks to the hosts for having us.

Call this what it is. It’s a room rental with 1000 passive aggressive notes written over everything. A shared bathroom (with the current owner) who will be living and staying in the home for the duration of your stay. Not suited off, no place to truly have any type of privacy. The division between the bedroom the gave me and the loft above me the owners operators were staying was an ugly blue cushion on a wrought iron stairwell. Also, no way to lock the bedroom door from the inside. My partner and I left and sent an email saying it just wasn’t what we were expecting, and never stayed for our reserved night. I reached out to owners about the possibility of a refund, and they don’t seem inclined to do so, and led me to believe that could only be done through Expedia which after a one minute consult with the Expedia page led me to believe that is in fact not true. Still waiting on my refund. If you think everyone is just a rube who can’t use the internet maybe this hippie scam isn’t something you should be running from that gawdy castle you clearly can’t pay for.

The facility was beautiful but had a cat as part of the lodging. My wife has a severe allergy and couldn't stay at the lodging. That info is available directly (per the owner) but not via Expedia. I would like Expedia to refund the payment I made due to the omission of critical info.

Accessibility is an issue that needs to be clear - also property was vacant as we arrived early. No one to talk to re accomodation. Special request was not responded to until after the “cancel for free” deadline so I could not make a clear decision based on info from the “hotelier”. Was more like an air B&B rental than actual B&B or motel/hotel.

Thank you to my wonderful hosts! I highly recommend the mountain house of wonder. It lives up to its name and more. Great communication from the hosts. (Make sure to use the mountain house of wonder email/phone number). Incredible opportunity to experience a scenic mountain top retreat. Relaxing and spa like atmosphere. Immaculate home. I woke to a view of the sunrise over the mountains. The hosts have incredible attention to detail. You will enjoy luxury in a remote location. I greatly appreciated all the little extras. For example Sean starting a wood burning fire, delicious homemade hot breakfast (Worth the extra purchase), luxury coffee machine, oatmeal and set up to cook and prepare just about anything. Great room set up, I did not notice other guests, and felt I had the place to myself. Good roads to get to the mountain retreat. Close to the waterfalls. There is a small grocery store on the way. The deck has wonderful views and comfortable furniture and large hot tub. I will miss the beauty, comfort, peace, my hosts and griffin the puppy. I can't wait to come back! Thank you Dya and Sean.
