"Beautiful hotel in a very central location. We stayed in a family triple room, which was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the balcony overlooking the stunning courtyard. The room had everything we needed, and the shower had excellent water pressure with consistently hot water. One of the highlights of our stay was the outstanding food quality. The breakfast selection was plentiful, the salad I ordered for lunch was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and dinner was beautifully presented and truly memorable. In fact, despite our usual policy of trying different restaurants while traveling, we returned here multiple times for both lunch and dinner because the food was simply that good. This was without question my favorite hotel of our entire Central Asia trip."

"There are positive and negative aspects. The building is clean and has character (high ceilings and moldings). Its location is in a wonderful park that we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. Went to restaurants and cafes. People watched. But the downside is that our small room had no AC for three nights. The staff did not take care of it after the first complaint. And could not fix it after the second. "

"The hotel has a lovely location with a top view over the Registan. I fear it is resting on its location laurels though. It feels tired and needs some polish. The staff insisted their card machine wasn't working and required full payment in cash. I couldn't do it, and miraculously, the machine started working before check out. A professional modern hotel should do better. "

"The hotel was immaculate, 100% would stay again! A grand building with beautiful painting in the lobby, and huge array of food for breakfast, and clean rooms. Also had a sauna and pool included in our stay for free which was lovely. Also the location is ideal for walking everywhere to all the famous monuments. The BEST thing was the hotel staff at front desk they went out of the way to make us feel welcomed, and the staff are credit to the hotel. As I had my birthday there they got me a painting as I showed interested in their painting in the lobby. Such a beautiful stay, thank you so much!"
