The staff were good, but it was understaffed on Christmas and boxing day. The pool was filthy, my kid was bit by something in the pool. The whole pool area seems to be neglected along with the sauna. The place didn't seem like a 4 star. They didn't even give extra water bottles

Our accommodation neighbours were noisy and had no respect for others. We would have enjoyed the balcony if it was private. The room was great, bed wqs comfortable and close to town.

Had a good one night stay at Parklands on our way through Mudgee. It was a good sized room with the sofa bed set up for the kids. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Requested single beds in one room & message via email & phone didnt get through. Dirty skirting boards & windows. Beds were clean. Didn't request housekeeping though still had housekeeping. Needed printed brochure on motel instead of qr code. No room service for food?

Comfort and space in mudgee

Our little family stayed at Parklands for two nights. The room was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Pastoral views are lovely. Slight issue with our expectations re: room cleaning. We assumed leaving the door sign requesting a clean was all that was required but apparently you need to put in a request at reception. So we were a bit disappointed to come home to a messy room. Our fault for not reading through the hotel booklet. The WiFi was incredibly slow on the second night of our stay (busier night at the hotel), meaning we couldn’t use Netflix or any streaming options unless we used our own data with a hotspot. The walls were a little thin and we could hear the neighbours tv the whole second night.

I was in room 206 which had a middle connecting door that was locked, but it was very noisy. I could hear conversations and TV noise until late night. To make things worse, someone’s car alarm was sounding around 7am (which is not the fault of the hotel). My room curtain was broken, which couldn’t be fully closed. The girl in the bar was very friendly and helpful. Overall the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The room was quite spacious. Seems to be a lot of wasted space. The bed was not comfy , the pillows were not good either. The beds were two singles pushed together and the crack in the middle was not comfortable. The mattresses were so uncomfortable, we have sore backs from the bed. We noticed as we were leaving that the linen rooms where fresh linen is kept was extremely dirty. Leaves and dirt all over the floor and the clean linen just dumped there in bags. Walls are very thin, could hear next doors TV well into the night and then again before 7am. The grounds were nice and tidy
