「This property has old charm appeal to real island life! When reading the reviews some of which were not great, I came to realize that it must’ve been those who didn’t appreciate that beauty! For those who want luxury and glitz go to a Marriott resort type “building” etc. We met the most amazing, accommodating, sweet and real people and this was a fantastic start to our vacation!」

「We spent one night here prior to our yacht rental began and wished we hadn’t. The room was very basic and frankly nasty. Sugar ants everywhere, crappy towels, restaurant on the dock overpriced and very average as far as the food. At $355 per night we expected better. 」

It's a small island with everything; beach, spa, water sports, boutique, bar with DJ, restaurant, marina, plus a water taxi that takes you to all the other restaurants near by. The staff is friendly and very professional. The rooms are a 5 star level. Highly recommended!」

「The manager Ashur was most helpful and responsive. They responded to minor issues promptly. We loved the large space and stunning view. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. Would highly recommend. One suggestion - add a sofa bed for additional guests. Note: there is a single hideaway bed. 」

「This hotel is a hidden gem! The lady at the front desk was a jewel! I called her 3x before we even arrived to ask her questions about early checkin and leaving our bags with her before we could checkin. She was so pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious with the most awesome view of the water. We even had a little kitchen as part of the room. It was very clean, had a great ac unit, and the bed was very comfortable. 「The hotel is modern, spacious and very elegant. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed, new furnishings, a fully stocked kitchenette and a lovely balcony with seating. The service team was extremely friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.」

「Truly a 5 star resort! Having a butler was a unique experience as was the having no room keys (that’s another first for me). We had some rain on our trip so a few more rainy day options would be a good addition. Loved that all water toys were included, find a kayak, pool noodle, stand up paddle board, you could use it. 「Sugar Mill was beyond my expectations. They have the friendliest staff and fantastic food. We were two couples who rented two King size bedrooms with ocean views.
