Would have been happy to skip and go directly from Merida to Faro Portugal rather than do a stop over in Huelva. We spent the extra 150 euro taxi since we read Punta Umbria was much better than Huelva. Wow

The hotel is about 15 kilometers away from Huelva, it takes you 20 minutes by car, 45 by bus. Expedia listed it as 5 km away which is not correct. There were a group of teenagers who were all staying in the hallway that my run was located in that were very loud and kept knocking on my door. Otherwise the hotel and staff were great.
