The place is on top of a hill which gives you an spectacular ocean view. In the morning you can hear birds and the amazing sound of the ocean waves below. It is a place to enjoy nature, views, tranquility, the beach, sand, just to breathe fresh air. It’s a quiet atmosphere, not a party place. I love this quietness and I will come back soon. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. There is no refrigerator in the room, so i guess we better bring a cooler with ice next time. Beautiful property.

Nice hotel, family and couple oriented. Restaurant has great views, and the room was clean. Hammock on the porch which was really awesome.

El servicio de Irwing y el chef muy bueno. Solo estaba funcionando una piscina, en el servicio de habitación les falta detalles como colocar jabones, papel higienico, que se sienta el baño limpio. Por todo lo demás es muy bello lugar.

El hotel está en un sitio único, y cuenta con una vista espectacular. Habitaciones confortables y limpias, teniendo en cuenta el sitio donde se encuentra. La comida en el restaurante exquisita. El chef es 1A. Queda cerca de Puerto Escondido, donde de puede tomar una lancha dirección a Isla Iguana para realizar avistamiento de ballenas. Unico punto debil, el último kilometro para llegar es una carretera no asfaltada y es preferible llegar con un carro estilo camioneta.

We had a lovely, quiet and relaxing stay. The staff was super accommodating and helpful, going out of their way to please our needs. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Very relaxing and tropical scenery. Restaurant menu was varied and delicious. Only downside is the main road to get to the hotel — you need at least an SUV to get there, specially when it’s rainy. Will definitely come back during the summer!

The chef made our stay!!!

It was a last second choice and only for one night. The room was perfectly adequate, nothing special but clean. Parking and checking, simple and accessible. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular! But, as foodies, the chef at this property was over the top fantastic. We commend him for his friendliness and generously, sharing his time and his talents with us. And we regret that we were unable to stay for lunch.

Hotel Punta Franca is a real paradise! A great place to stay and relax on the pacific cost of Panama. ITS AMAZING! I feel like I am in a 5 star hotel. The view is breathtaking. I wish I could stay more! ❤️ the only feedback I have is the cleaning products, they have a very strong smell, but aside from that, everything was absolutely perfect

Loved the view & the staff! Room lacks amenities- no coffee, no drinking glasses, only 2 towels - not a big deal for us, but others may just want the heads up. Fantastic view and super friendly staff! Recommend
