Hoy desde que hemos vuelto a casa ya no aguantamos de comentar lo malo que estuvo este resort para nosotros. Teníamos mucha expectativa con este resort ya que en años anteriores hemos visitado al Royalton Punta Cana, en el cual tuvimos una experiencia agradable. Pero este (Royalton Bávaro) está muy mal mantenida. Nos dieron una habitación que está casi todo dañada, la puerta del baño no se cierra (la puerta se abría sola porque el seguro no funciona), la nevera estaba torcida y la puerta de la gaveta también está torcida, algo que nos pareció super incómodo y chistoso. Además, el agarre de mano para abrir el balcón está literalmente roto. No nos pusieron tapas en el jabón de baño. Con respecto a la comida, estuvo malísimo, la langosta estaba ya dañada y en general había mucho plato que nos pareció muy salado. En resumen nunca hemos estado en un resort de tan mal calidad. Espero que tomen en cuenta las críticas (sugerencias) y que mejoren para el bien de su futuro

Our trip to the Royalton was wonderful. The pools are kept clean as are the grounds. There are tons of activities around the pools. Our large group had something to always do. The best part of the hotel was the wonderful staff. So many were helpful and made the overall experience better. Adoni was so great helping my large group organize dinners and having a special surprise for my parents big anniversary. Overall a very nice experience.

Check-in horrible, Royalton. Did not honor our prepaid rooms and have refused to refund us our money for prepaying. Flys everywhere, rude staff, no staff is willing to help, they just walk away from customers. Would not recommend this resort

Royalton Bavaro is an excellent resort that offers numerous things to do within the resort - gym facility, spa, pickle ball, putt putt, ping pong, beach volleyball, and nightly shows that are fun for the entire family! The only negative is the dinner reservations...this was our second visit and although I had wished the process had been streamlined, getting a dinner reservation is not as simple as going on the app and requesting it. There are not enough spots for dinner reservations for all of the guests at the resort which means you end up going to the buffet. The buffet offers great options, but the service is not as good as at the restaurants. To secure a dinner reservation, you have to go to the lobby and find the luxury experience desk attendants before 5pm and make a reservation request, then the employee will whatsapp you and let you know if they found a reservation available. It worked out 3 of the 5 nights during my stay but it takes far too long, and you waste an hour of your day trying to figure it out. Since this was my second time, I tried to call ahead and secure my reservations but that was not allowed because you need to be checked in prior to making reservations. (Good things to know before you get there.)

Our room was dirty and worn. The bathroom door didn’t slid closed, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. House keep didn’t come until almost 4:00 when we were trying to get ready for dinner. Tiles were missing in our swim out pool. Some staff were great others were rude. Especially the concierge who tried to push selling a time share. When we told him no, he was extremely rude towards us the rest of our time at the resort. The pool bars were dirty. The cups were not clean and just dipped in dirty water and used again. The bartenders just poured alcohol on top of the drink and they weren’t frozen. Just a sloppy mess. The bathrooms around the pool and main lobby were disgustingly gross! Dirty, smelled awful and not well kept. Dinner service was so slow. We ended up leaving twice due to waiting almost an hour just for a drink. All the sea food was close to all other foods. You can tell it’s very miss managed and run down. I don’t see it staying open much longer.

The hotel did not meet my expectations. The service quality was not satisfactory, especially in the Diamond Club area. In addition, the rooms were not clean, and I noticed insects in the room during my stay.

We had a wonderful stay overall. We booked a swim-out pool room, and while the pool was technically shared with the rest of the first floor, it still felt very private. The rooms could use a bit more upkeep, but nothing major, small things like the bathroom door sticking and some markings on the floor. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and maintenance was constant. The kids loved the lazy rivers and the swim-up bars (pina coladas were a hit!). One downside was the teen hangout area,it required tokens to play the games, and the machine was broken the entire week we were there.There are also a few “hidden” things I wish we had known sooner. Mini golf requires you to go to the kids’ center to reserve a time, and most slots fill up quickly. The FlowRider also requires a reservation and an additional fee $30 for 15 minutes. Breakfast and lunch were great. For dinner, our favorites were Hunter Steakhouse and Zen. If you go to Zen, definitely do the hibachi show,it was excellent. Excursions were very easy to book, and the staff running them made sure everything went smoothly. The biggest downfall involved Expedia. A few days before arrival I received a text from an Expedia concierge who only handled our dinner reservations. On checkout day, he said he would meet me at the desk to complete a survey (and receive a tip), but when he didn’t show up, he repeatedly texted me asking me to complete the survey anyway. Even 2 days later he is still pushing this survey.

Nice relaxing stay and welcoming staff, Adoni was great in taking care of the family. Kids had a great time and pools were nice and clean. Beach was easy to access, food was good and there were a lot of options. Double room was big enough for everyone.

In 3 days trip, they changed my room everyday. 1st day, even though i was checking in 5 hours late as per their time they didnt provide me room immediately had to wait an hour for it, then they gave me the wrong room with 2 quueen size bed, wherein i booked a king size. 2nd day they gave me aroom in which AC was not working and it took them to figure that out and then they tell me it cant be fixed we'll changeyour room the next day. They didn't provide any upgrade or any services for the inconvenience caused

While it is a beautiful property, clean beautiful rooms (junior luxury suites), and pool/beach areas are well kept, drinking, dining, and transportation options are limited. The check-in took over 30 minutes. One of our guest had mobility issues and often had to give up on waiting for a ride anywhere. There were few places to call for a pick up and when there was one we would be reminded that it was for the diamond club members. If you’re not in the diamond club you will need to other arrangements for and trek for your meals. Definitely not worth the high price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

That was the worst part of our stay. First off we never got the room I paid an extra 70.00 dollars for. I still have not received my credit either. So I'm gonna have to dispute it.
