I would’ve given a solid 4 star however the cockroaches really were hard to deal with. After requesting the room be sprayed (which was done ASAP) it was a little better however it smelled so bad. We had two rooms 4013/4016 and both had issues with cockroaches. It made it hard to sleep well as we worried about them being in our bed. Next, the a la carte restaurants were good and enjoyed them. The Buffet was just ok. Better next door for more options but definitely loader and more crowded. The steakhouse and Italian are not open every night so be sure to ask so you can plan accordingly. There were 5 of us and three has not felt well for the last two days of vacation. One hasn’t eaten at all for three days. Not sure if it’s food poisoning or a belly bug. The people were super friendly and helpful. I felt safe and enjoyed being able to walk between the resorts. There are several people all over trying to sell excursions and timeshares so be prepared. Overall not a bad place however I doubt we’d go back mostly due to the cockroaches

The FOOD AT THIS HOTEL SUCKS LIKE DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT it. FOOD IS ALL LEFT UNCOVERED, MEAT IS RAW, it’s just the same food daily twisted and turned its horrible. Staff extremely inhospitable and mostly full of scammers in the area. The linen in the room stinks, terrible service.

The only thing we liked was that it was not that busy, but there is a reason why. The property is completely rundown, the cleaning staff unreliable, the pool was filthy every day, they will say they’ll complete a simple task (like bringing towels) and just never show up. They couldn’t even coordinate sending someone to get our suitcases when checking out despite given an hours notice of our departure. The shower flooded the bathroom every time because the door didn’t close properly. We never had enough towels despite telling them there are three of us staying. Two of us also got food poisoning from one of the restaurants and are barely able to fly home today. It was just disappointing all around, and it is NOT a five star, I’d say around 3 maximum.

Small, clean, plenty of chairs at beach and pool. No need for reservations at restaurants. Rooms are set to be no cooler than 75 degrees which can be a bit warm to sleep. We were able to relax. Not a party vibe which was fine. Not a luxury resort either. Basically a basic resort with nice people. Nothing outstanding.

El hotel es bonito,buena limpieza los empleados muy amables,la comida y restaurante súper buenos no le doy 5 estrellas por dos razones que solo por eso no volvería a hospedarme,las habitaciones tienen el aire dañado nos cambiaron dos veces de habitación y era el mismo problema el calor no nos dejaba dormir por lo tanto los mosquitos tampoco el calor en la habitación era horrible,había mal olor por el zargaso de la playa y por eso también habían tantos mosquitos

The hotel is adult only but doesn’t have club, casino, sport bar, and food was bland. There was a variety of food at the Resorant restaurant. There was no adult activities for adults. The hostess gave us the improper procedure to book seats at the property and sister property restaurants. The A/C in the room was 25°C which was too hot. The thermostat would not reduce temperature.

Cleanliness: Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Room was covered in dust and appeared unswept for our stay. Room and sheets smelled of mildew. Cockroaches were present. Safety: Patio door did not lock. Pushy sales people lingered around beach area. Staff: Entertainment staff and bar staff was great!! Front desk staff with whom we shared our complaints about cleanliness upon arrival did nothing to fix the issue. The staff members we went to for the cockroaches did nothing for us except send a guy to our room with a broom. They did not provide any accomadations for the issue and even laughed at us. Food: Food poisoning all week, limited variety. Buffet sits out for hours. Entertainment: Entertainment staff did a good job at involving the guests in activities and dancing. Enjoyed the entertainment, however became repetitive after a few days. Beach: Unable to swim in ocean due to mounds of seaweed covering the shore. Very disappointed.

Punta Cana Princess is a peaceful, adults-only resort with friendly staff and clean, well-kept grounds. The spa was excellent, and the quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. However, there were several drawbacks. The "free WiFi" is very limited—streaming or accessing many websites requires a $4/day upgrade, and WiFi in the rooms was nearly unusable. Entertainment was repetitive, with the same activities daily. The beach was covered in seaweed during my visit, which made it hard to enjoy. There’s only one main pool, which can feel limiting if the beach isn’t an option. The buffet food was average, with around 70% of the options repeated daily. Most of the offerings catered to American tastes; I had hoped for more Dominican dishes. While staff were kind, most primarily spoke Spanish, which may be challenging for guests who don’t speak the language. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a quiet retreat, but improvements in food variety, WiFi, and entertainment would make it a stronger choice.

The property wasn’t bad, but the rooms could use an upgrade, and so could their customer service. Asked for towels several times, they finally arrived about 45 min later. No one speaks very good English, so there is a distinct language barrier. Front desk scheduled free transport to a shopping area for us, but we never arrived at the area; only one shop the driver was friends with. Scary and sketchy
