The breakfast was wonderful. The bathroom shower was terrible and the faucet water smelled. The balcony had 3 small plastic chairs and a dirty plastic table. Although, it was in a great location. Walking distance to everything I needed. Walking distance to the beach also. You get what you pay for, and you make it work.

The breakfast was superb, but the property was NOTHING like the listing. It was .4 miles from the beach and appeared to also have people living in various rooms. The toilet, despite us always throwing our paper in the trash can, was unusually slow or just refused to drain. There were rust stains everywhere, even on the furniture. My friend also saw a cockroach in the room. The staff and the locals were amazingly friendly and always offered to help us get taxis, etc., but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Family of 4 started 28th Mar till 06th Apr 2026 - AVOID AVOID AVOID - We had an absolute nightmare staying at this apartment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the place was falling apart and posed serious health and safety concerns. Fixtures were broken, things were poorly maintained, and overall it felt completely neglected. After raising complaints, we were moved to another room, but unbelievably it was even worse. The water from the taps smelled like sewage, which made it unsafe and unpleasant to use. The sink would get blocked within just a couple of minutes every single time, making basic use incredibly frustrating. Property is located on a very busy road, downstairs a cafe called mangos cafe and it's open 24 hours playing music and from our window you can hear and listen, we hardly manage to get a decent night sleep here. Our view was meant to be city view but we have a water pump outside which they keep on overnight and right by our room. Bathroom leaks all the time and using toilet was nightmare. We stayed for 9 nights, and housekeeping only came twice during the entire stay, which is completely unacceptable. Most of the time we were either out on excursions or at the beach, so there was plenty of opportunity for proper cleaning, but it simply didn’t happen. This place is seriously below standard, poorly managed, and not fit for guests. I would strongly advise others to AVOID staying here.

Disgusting rooms and a terrible experience overall. I had to ask multiple times how to check in after hours since the front desk is only open during the day. I paid for a room with a balcony but was first given one without it. The windows didn’t close properly and the AC had a broken flap that rattled all night so we couldn’t sleep. Everything was rusty, moldy, or broken. When the door handle broke off and locked us out, I demanded the balcony room I paid for. Unfortunately the second room was even worse. The rusty fridge leaked water onto the floor and my toddler slipped on it. The freezer door was broken off. Both rooms had no hot water and the shower heads were barely attached with one screw. Half the lights didn’t work or flickered constantly. The coffee maker was dirty and smelled like mold, and there were no filters, coffee, or even bottled water even though the tap water isn’t safe to drink. The kitchen dishes were a random mix and many were dirty. We also saw cockroaches. Staff were dishonest. I tipped cleaning staff to clean sand from the room and they took the tip but never cleaned it once in the week we were there. The toilet kept clogging and maintenance tried to unclog it with a toilet brush. To top it off, my phone was stolen from the room by staff (it was locked) Avoid this place.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the tropics. The scenery is stunning, especially at sunset when the sky turns golden. It feels private, quiet, and very special. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

I had to leave it was so bad and get another place at the last minute. We had to drive around Punta Cana hoping we didn’t have to sleep in our car. I will be making a report, I have pictures and video of how it really looks and I’ll be requesting a refund. You normally do a great job in having good places but this place needs to be off your list.

Room was rusty, old and dirty. The sheets were extremely thin and brown. There was a roach in the bathroom, the water was not drinkable. The kitchenette appliances were rusty. There was no hot water in the shower. We had to check out immediately, I could not stay the night.

This property should not be listed in its current condition. Between the roach infestation, lack of running water, and inaccurate listing details, this stay was uninhabitable. Guests should not have to discover these issues after arrival. I had to incur additional costs to relocate to another place. Very disappointing.
Only 2 towels were given. Theres no running hot water and you have to shower with flip flops on. The entire bathroom gets wet.
This was NOT a “fully stocked” kitchen. 2 pots 1 small pan, old and rusty. WATER AS PROMISED WAS NOT INCLUDED.
The “queen” sofa was a regular sofa. If you pull it out, there’s no additional bed space.
This is the “junior suite.” Also, be prepared to buy your old cleaning products and supplies. They clean only every 3 days.

My experience at Las Palmas Studios – Playa Los Corales was extremely disappointing and misleading. The property is nothing like what is advertised online. Photos are clearly staged, outdated, or taken at angles that hide the true condition of the place. The room was poorly maintained, with visible wear, cleanliness issues, and an overall neglected feel. What was marketed as a comfortable, well-kept studio near the beach turned out to be far below basic expectations. The amenities promoted either didn’t exist, didn’t work properly, or were of very poor quality. The location is also misrepresented. While it’s advertised as being close to Playa Los Corales, the reality is far less convenient and nowhere near the peaceful, attractive setting shown in listings. surrounding conditions, and lack of upkeep made it impossible to relax. Most frustrating was the complete lack of honesty in the listing. I chose this place based on what was promised, and it felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Once you arrive, it’s clear they rely on misleading marketing rather than actual quality. I would not recommend this property to anyone who values transparency, cleanliness, or getting what they pay for. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

The facility went by a different name, then was listed on this site. It was clear that they’ve had issues in the past given the lack of communication when I continue to ask about whether I was staying at the right place or not. Even my girlfriend, who spoke Spanish, could not get them to answer her. Finally, they said that it was the place that I was supposed to be and handed me a contract, which stated that I saw the room in advance. I asked to see the room and they denied me that opportunity and told me I would have to sign the contract before I could see the room, necessitating me writing in my own clause, including another clause that I had to write in denying my participation in their non-disparagement agreement. The room was a room, somewhat clean, but all in all I won’t be returning. This place is nowhere close to a five star, more like a two star.

We loved the spacious clean room with a very comfortable bed and lots of pillows. The beach area is perfect with umbrellas, soft sand and warm water for swimming.

The hotel in Punta Cana is absolutely beautiful with a huge clean pool and plenty of loungers. The beach has white sand, clear water for swimming and no seaweed at all. The nearby restaurants serve delicious local food and there are many bars with amazing cocktails.

Our experience was very positive and our favorite place to stay it was the beach! Beautiful as a picture, not overcrowded, with many umbrellas and chairs. If we come back to puntacana, we will book this place again
