Beautiful on the beach property which has been used and became run down. Needs a lot of over all updating and easier to clean upholstery. It looks great in pictures but not the same when in person. Amenities are not easy to be used and they don’t have the clients in mind when creating activities.

pool, beach are great, some of the restaurant are ok, buffet was a little wacky, they served us beers that tasted spoiled, vip is not much different from the regular one, my vip bedroom was horrible and they had to change me to a regular one, even if I pay for a VIP. night club was boring, terrible DJ, music was horrible, Bowling room smelled too bad that we couldn't play, the resort doesn't have any activities at night, the nights are quiet and boring, it was my first time at this resort and I was very disappointed , I don’t think I can return to this place, but I hope they can do some improve, because the activities outside are very good, the pool, beach, and views are beautiful. My comments about my experience are not with any bad intention, my comments are to let them know, in my opinion, what things they have to work on to improve.

Definitely STRONGLY suggest picking another hotel. Had a really bad experience (and I’m not very picky). The first day I asked a staff member for a bottle of water (for my 2 year old) and was told NO. Then proceeded to go to every restaurant and heard NO. Then finally someone told me to go to guest services and I was advised to go to the casino.. when I got there they told me they didn’t have bottles of water. Went back to guest services and the person walked to the same bar and restaurant that previously told me they didn’t have and handed me two bottles (this took approximately 2hrs chasing after a water bottle). I’ve been to make all inclusive resorts (Cancun, riviera maya, Brazil, Jamaica …) and had never seen such poor hygiene. I’ve read reviews prior to traveling (but I thought i wasn’t gonna be bothered ‘cuz it couldn’t be that bad’) WELLLLL it was THAT BAD! Also, my two year old ended up in the hospital in DR for food poisoning/ bacterial infection because of this hotel. I would NEVER suggest/ recommend this hotel and will definitely NEVER go back!

The resort was DISGUSTING. They did not clean the pools. They did not clean eating utensils my 2 year old got sick with handfoot and mouth disease covid and rhinovirus we had to rush back home with her. Front desk was terrible too they tried to give us a downgrade and refused to give my parents and I a close room.

We went 3 days for our honeymoon and we were dying to come back home. The service is beyond poor and the staff is not friendly unless they see you with a purse to tip. In the buffet the staff didn't even acknowledge us we constantly had to ask for utensils and water since they see you sitting at the table and do not even approach you with the utensils unless you ask. All the buffet staff are constantly gossiping to each other about other guests in Spanish. I am latin and Spanish is my first language and they still talk bad of other guests in front of me.The pool area has no entertainment or music. Every single time we went to the bar to get a drink they expected a tip. This is an all inclusive resort and we tip constantly but they wanted to be tipped for basically every drink.The only good thing about this hotel is the rooms.

I've really enjoyed my stayed at the resort , the only thing I didn't like was that people were smoking everywhere instead of one designated area . There's beautiful seating area and they can smoke there too . I don't smoke , so I hated that if I've knew this I've would have went to another resort . The stuff is very friendly and helpful . I've also love that no one can come in this resort ( annoying people trying to sell you stuff , excursions etc ) that was amazing , also they've have a train that passes every 10 min so if your tired or have a wheel chair that's a big A plus , food was good , I've tried all of them , dolce vitta was my fav .

My room had a smell humidity or bad air conditioning filters, the rooms need and urgent update, the bathrooms in the common areas are so dark and many broken, the ceilings leak, the entertainment is poor, the food is basic no real flavor to it. The pancakes are hard so imagine the rest, the entertainment for kids is also poor. The barcy pool is ok, the pirate amenity is extra $, check in and check out takes forever.

This was a fantastic vacation for my wife and I. We have done Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, etc...so we wanted to try Dominican Republic. I searched high and low for every review possible, video's etc, before making a decision. I took those reviews with a grain of salt and formed my own opinion. Having been to other Caribbean destinations this wasn't my top favorite, maybe a close/distant 2. Food is what set it back, disgruntled looks on servers faces, bartenders, etc. Employees didn't look like they wanted to be there. Overall, a great resort and very beautiful. But, Cancun has my vote for #1. Better in every aspect. Just my opinion. Thank you though DR for a great time.

It is a good all-inclusive property; pool and the beach were great. The stuff was attentive. The Wi-Fi could be stronger, even in the room it was a little spotty. Also, food was a little blend in the buffet. Some restaurants on the property had worse food than the service and the stuff was a little clueless. Overall thought good experience.

For a large resort, I felt extremely safe the entire time. The staff was very friendly. They did their best to communicate in English, and I did my best to communicate in Spanish! There is always something to eat, and the entertainment staff was above par. We had a fantastic time.

Beautiful resort but the food wasn’t good. The only place with good food was the buffet by taino bar. The restaurants are horrible the buffet has the best food there. Other than that it’s a beautiful resort.
