"Very convenient, the public bus from Shushe to Ita Shao stopped like 100m from the hostel. I came for the Sun Moon Lake marathon, and the pick up bus, was also at this same bus stop, making it super convenient. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to keep my luggage and use the shower facilities after the Marathon run, even though its past check out time. I had checked out earlier at 4am and returned around 1pm again to shower. The place is 5 mins stroll to Ita Shao...

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening.
