「The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were individually quaint but could probably benefit from modernising. The area was scenic and quiet. Would see it more as a 3 star hotel instead of 4.」

「Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. 」

「Breakfast was wholesome and the bed comfortable, but there was nowhere (in Ancestry) to eat breakfast apart from on the bed. Shower works well.」

「Wasn’t expecting a ‘superior’ twin room to be directly above the kitchen. Extractor fan turned on @ 7am… a necessity no doubt, but hardly conducive to a relaxing stay. Staff lovely. Parking easy.」

「Although this only an overnight stay, we were very impressed by the room and the staff who were most helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The air-conditioning was a little on the cold side even after adjustment. A nice touch were the complementary shortbread biscuits which were delicious. The breakfast was excellent and we will be happy to stay there again on a future occasion.」

「Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money.」
