A little bathroom touch up would bring this from 3 to a 5. The price was super high for such a 1* bathroom, but friendly staff and nice pool and pool deck were good.

Room was very clean. Staff was delightful and helpful. In the heart of everything. Only negative was my room was located at ground level fronting the very busy main street and noise was loud and in the room. Otherwise excellent

AC was great Pool was awesome Well maintained and clean Excellent for walking everywhere We had no water the first night, tank got filled the next day. Not a big deal to us. Authentically Mexican. Would 100% stay there again!!!!!

Clean. Tv didn’t work. Noisy music performing very close. Old refrigerator, stovetop and little microwave but not a single glass, plate or fork to use the kitchenette. No shower curtain so water on the floor. Reception didn’t speak English but were very nice. It is fine for our one night stay. The pool looked inviting with available chaise lounges. Convenient to restaurants, etc. Good price.

The staff was great and helpful. The foyer and pool are very nice but the rooms are very dated. The wifi only reached my balcony so really no service or signal. The towels were rougher than sandpaper and shouldn't be used even for cleaning. I don't think I would let my Mother stay there so that's a benchmark on whether or not I would return.

Beautiful location very close to the beach, dining, shopping. We enjoyed a gorgeous corner suite next to the heated pool. Stunning view of the ocean from the rooftop lounging area. Staff was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable!

Good stay

Was a good stay. Very clean and friendly helpful staff. Older hotel so it needed a bit of work. Only downfall was no running eatrr so the water would run out until water truvk came. Close to everything amd lots of restaurants.

We had a junior suite which included stove top, full size fridge, etc. etc. Very large open concept room with king bed. Bathroom was good too. Accommodations are old but pretty much excellent. The pool and lush gardens were beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing even though on Main Street. Restaurant food and staff excellent as well as hotel staff especially Antonio!

Perfect location. Very clean. They ran out of water every evening and would not get their tanks refilled till at least 9 AM so you could not shower or flush a toilet and no back up restroom facilities.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and close to the pool. The only issues I had were with the key to my room. It was hard to lock and unlock the door. They also had an issue with water on several mornings.

The out side was nice, pool area is nice and the staff try their best. The kitchenette is in rough shape, the utensils are disgusting, and only a pot with no lid and fry pan. The place definitely has potential but it is not worth the price they are charging, until some work is done on the place.

We went for 3 days to Bucerias to have a little getaway from Puerto Vallarta and chose Hotel Palmeras because of its location on Lazaro Cardenas which doesnt have a lot of through traffic but offers a good selection of decently priced restaurants while only being a couple blocks from the beach. We stayed in Room 2 which has been newly remodeled and enjoyed nice hot showers and good AC. Being a road facing room we had the occasional vehicle noise but sleeps were decent on a firm king size mattress and nice pillows. Last but not least, the reception staff was wonderful and welcoming, speaking decent english but with Mexican hospitality. Thank you for a nice stay!

This was a perfect location in Bucerias to enjoy the walkable city. It was unfortunate that our room was in disrepair, we should have said something. As we did not know the condition of the other rooms until our last day, and found out they were beautiful. Note: always speak to the front desk if you have any issues.

Nice, basic hotel. Cozy feel and modern lobby. Close to el centro, and Chedraui is well within walking distance.On-site cafe is good and staff are very friendly. Would prefer if no bracelet was needed since it's not all inclusive - hard to find a hotel in tourist area where you can have friends over to hang out for an evening. Visited in the slow season and there were no lights on in the back of the property, so had to use my phone flashlight to come and go from my room to the lobby area at night. Overall would stay again.

We liked the location,the pool area, the staff and the rooms housekeeping. We were very disappointed with our accommodations. We didn't like the constant moldy smell which lead to sinus and chest problems; odors from the shower drain with no sealed off drain top, no drinking water, 3 mornings without any water; continual dripping kitchen faucet; no hair blower. Upon request; a room safe, a toaster, edible kitchen utensils, and a cooking pot with lid were provided. Our 2 week stay cost us $42,000 pesos in cash, up front. We knew that a refund would not have been a consideration, so we stuck it out. Booking through Expedia we thought we were guaranteed good accommodations but we were wrong.

Check in - it took 20 minutes for someone. to receive me in to the hotel. I was at the front desk and ringing the bell..finally a gentleman arrived and looked disheveled as if he'd been sleeping. This was around 6:30 in the afternoon. I had previously messaged the property to indicate that I'd be arriving around 7:00 pm. The property has been recently renovated...room 1 was very nice and clean. Unfortunately I received a message early in the morning stating there was no water. I had just used the bathroom and couldn't flush the toilet or have a shower. I checked out at 11:00 in the morning and the water truck had just arrived.

We had stayed one year ago and were very happy - so we returned. In that year, we found the property degraded. Without explanation, one day no one cleaned the room, no clean towels, nothing. No explanation. In general, cleaning staff never cared. Shower at pool no longer worked. Unit Floor was filthy, terraces never cleaned, counters never cleaned. Terrace Plants unwatered. Requested a second key first day, never got one. Staff was kind and tried to help. WiFi worked 20 percent of the time. Still a Great location.
