Casa Colonial Beach is the perfect getaway paradise. The buildings were beautiful and clean. The staff took great care to get to know us and always provided a personal touch. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. We plan on returning in the future. It is hidden gem!

We have been guests of Casa Colonial for three years, and after every visit we plan to return. It is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the beach. The service is so accommodating they anticipate most needs. And the grounds are beautiful!!!

Beautiful resort on quiet beach area in Puerto Plata. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Even though the property was full, it was quiet and peaceful. The restaurant serves delicious meals and there is a fantastic bar in the main building. Wonderful property. I will return.

Beautiful property, well-maintained suites, meticulously maintained grounds, awesome staff at every turn, whether it was housekeeping, restaurant staff, front desk, bell hop, or anyone else you ran into on the grounds. Wide variety of food, which was also tasty, with the freshest vegetables and fruits. Never had to wait for a table and room service was always prompt. Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. Pool and beach were never crowded and always someone to get you a towel, food or drink. It was the most relaxing and restful vacation we’ve taken. Shout out to all of the ladies who made sure our suite was clean and stocked every morning and every night. We always had an abundance of towels, washcloths and bottled water, and the rooms always smelled fresh and clean. And special shoutout to Felix who drove us around whenever we needed.

This was a lovely place, excellent staff and beautiful grounds! Clean beach. The beaches nearby were not as clean. The food was delicious but it was the same choices everyday, however there were plenty to choose from. The beach is very close so you can hear the waves. The drinks are delicious. The massage was amazing. Everyone is very kind and cordial. It’s quiet and peaceful. The only complaint was that the pool and hot tubs were under construction and we didn’t know this. They emailed us to tell us but it went to our spam so we never knew. There’s nothing on the website about this. We were highly disappointed about not having a pool or hot tub! With those are in working order, we would give 5 stars.

I have hesitated to write a review only because I don’t want this place to get ruined by hoards of people going there 😂. What a gem! I hadn’t been back to the Puerto Plata area in ages. We have been to many 5 star hotels in Punta Cana and this one has nothing to envy from those. The place is as beautiful as the pictures if not more. Service is 10/10. The food is AMAZING, literally not one bad or bland meal. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive but never hovering over you- they let you be. We are actually returning to celebrate our birthdays there (my daughter and I). The only thing I will say is that this place is definitely for relaxing, I think we were the noisy ones there. It’d be nice if they had some type of entertainment at least on the weekends for people who want a more lively atmosphere, for me the pianist in the lobby during Sat night dinner was perfect- (great tunes!), but I know other people would maybe want something more interactive. The place is immaculate, super clean. Keep doing what you’re doing Casa Colonial and from the bottom of our hearts, a huge thank you to the entire staff- Odalis, Victoria (breakfast/pool), Luz from the bar, Lissette from concierge, Rafael, Nelson and all the waiters, Yeniz and all the cleaning ladies.
