La atención del personal es EXCELENTE. Por su parte, las habitaciones están bastante deterioradas, requieren de muchísimo mantenimiento por humedad y olores cloacales en los baños (vi al menos 3 habitaciones). La pileta es acorde al lugar, buen tamaño, sin embargo, creo que le faltaba mantenimiento, ya que el agua estaba bastante turbia y casi todo el día dejaban la tapa de la bomba abierta, cosa peligrosa porque habían niños.

Très déçu par l'auberge au vu des commentaires précédents... Le personnel a l'accueil n'était pas agréable limite hautains le dernier jour ne faisant aucun effort pour parler doucement en espagnol afin que nous les comprenions. La Chambre était sans fenêtre, les draps et les serviettes de douche étaient tachés chaque jour. L'État du réfrigérateur était déplorable. L'odeur d'humidité dans la salle de bain n'etait pas non plus très agréable. Aucun insonorisation, nous étions en bout de couloir et entendions les gens qui roulaient avec leur valise dans la rue ou les gens qui ont applaudit et parler fort a 5h du matin la première nuit ( cela est par contre indépendant de la volonté évidemment ).Nous avons vraiment été déçus et ne comprenons pas les bons commentaires précédents. Le petit déjeuner est correct avec du jus, thé, café, céréales types frosties et 1 croissant et 1 petit pain par personne avec 1 petit beurre et 1 petite boite de confiture.

Iguazu 2020

This is a NO FRILLS Mom and Pop Hotel (2 stars). The room are bare with a comfortable bed and mini fridge. Cable TV was sporadically, no phone, closet or dresser for your clothes. The AC worked fine. The pool was clean. The breakfast consisted of coffee/tea, 1 media luna and 1 bread per person. There were some sugary cereals and milk but NO FRUIT or yogurt. If you are used to American hotels, you probably will be disappointed. If you want to save money and have a clean and comfortable place to sleep after your excursions as a solo traveler, you can't beat the price and location. Everything is walking distance

We don’t speak much Spanish, so it was helpful that the guy that checked us in spoke some English. He was very friendly and took the initiative to tell us about different points of interest in the area, transportation options, etc., without us even asking. The free daily breakfast, location of the hotel, and daily cleaning of the room were all pluses and much appreciated. The service was overall was pretty good. They were always willing to help, but there were communication barriers because of our inability to speak Spanish. This is not their fault, this is ours. The only real drawbacks are: it’s the quality of a hostel, not a hotel, so keep this in mind if booking here. Also, the WiFi in the rooms are weak, but it works great in the lobby and common areas.

Room had a fridge and there was a heatwave while I was visiting, so that was helpful. 3 blocks to the bus station if you are planning to go anywhere else.

With a somewhat ramshackle layout suggestive of expansions over the years, the building has a unique charm. Only three easy blocks from the central transit terminal and nightlife, it was mostly quiet and cool both in the rooms and by the pool. It was not perfect. Several of the fixtures in the bathroom were broken and the mini-fridge was in poor repair. But as a comfortable place to rest between my adventures in the area on foot and by bus it exceeded every expectation and the staff was unfailingly polite even when a language barrier limited conversation.
