This is a party hostel with way too many men lol. They had house music blasting from 9am- 11pm so if you are considering going back to your room to rest think again. I put my air pods in with noise cancellation, but you cannot cancel that beatttt. Sooo, the music gets old pretty fast and it's playing with no one around, honestly wished they could have just shut it off on most days cuz it is soooo unnescessarily loud. The hostel gets pretty cold at night so we barely got comfortable sleep. It has a very small kitchen. You have to pay for the towels and I requested to have mine swapped for a fresh one since I stayed a week and they told me I would have to pay to get another one. The staff are generally friendly and nice as they are volunteers. However, our check-in experience was brutal and it was sooo hot at 3pm so you could imagine the discomfort. We had to wait until 3 pm sharp to check-in and then it was delayed again because they did not have the right staff member there to do the check-in. So at this point there was a whole line up of ppl waiting to check in. But I stayed in an all girls dorm which was really nice, the bed was clean, the bathroom is a good size. They have nice sized storage for your luggage in the room which is located where the sink and mirror are, which is super convenient when you are trying to get ready. There is a large balcony which has so much potential! We wish they would have added lounge chairs or hammocks so we could enjoy the space and quiet!
