「Die Restaurants sind gut und abwechslungsreich. Am Strand sind leider einige Steine was es etwas unangenehm macht ins Meer zu gehen (am besten Gummi-Schuhe mitnehmen). Es war schon etwas geschäftig, da muss man sich drauf einstellen, liegen war aber immer vorhanden, beim Essen war es manchmal recht voll und entsprechend laut.」

「We spent our Whitsun holidays at the JW Marriott Crete with our young kids and had a great time. The resort is beautiful, located right at the quiet end of Marathi Bay. It’s incredibly family-friendly—the staff were amazing with the children, and the kids' pool is perfect since it's shallow, warm, and shaded by a sun sail. 「The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time....
