「I have to admit I was not happy with my room. It was dated, with a non-working shower and full of insects, especially after it went dark. However, I cannot but admit that the people managing the property (a family of four plus staff) went out of their way to make this a memorable stay. 「On finding out that the reason we were in Rhodes was to celebrate our son's birthday, the owner/staff treated him like a king, and us like royalty! The hotel itself looks out onto the medieval wall, and from the roof top terrace you could see all the way to the sea! The surroundings were quiet - even though we were within the old city walls.
