"Excellent stay."

The Hotel Ljubljana

"The Hotel Ljubljana was in a great location, just a 5-minutes before walk from the dragon bridge. There are only three parking spaces for this hotel and you must call front desk to reserve in advance. Cost is 30€ a day. It’s street parking close to the hotel. (You can use Easy Park to park cheaper a few blocks further away.) We stayed in the smallest room with no windows, and surprisingly, we loved it. It was the last available room on our days of stay, but when we return to Ljubljana, I would ask for this room again even if others were available. It was so cozy. The shower was great. The bed and bedding were our most comfortable of all the hotels we used in our trip. The staff gave us a welcome prosecco upon arrival and were so friendly throughout our stay. They have a great included breakfast in the restaurant. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner there too. (FYI: There is a gelato place right outside the back door entry.) We really loved this hotel and will definitely return."

"Wonderful rooms and an amazing breakfast spread. Proximity to restaurants and all the famous bridges in the old town was exceptional. Plenty of walking and sightseeing to do in the area. The hotel is only a short walk from one of the drop off points on the perimeter of the old town. It’s just a five minute walk. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is located as part of a building beside the main hospital. It has a few supermarkets right next door so useful from that point of view. As you enter there are signs telling you that construction is ongoing on site. In our bathroom there was a shower enclosure but no attachment for the shower head so you had to hold it. It’s a no frills room. The breakfast was good. Approximately 15 minutes walk to town centre."

"The room was spotlessly clean, the staff was kind, helpful and understanding. Tiny touches were missing, like drinking glasses were put directly on the counter, without coasters. Hairdrier was not working. There were no extra towells by the pool, the pool adjacent area looks like a storage. The quality of coffee machines both in the room and at breakfast should be improved. A selection of teas in the room would be nice."
