Not an experience l would like to repeat

Had higher expectations for the specific hotel that were not met. l put 3* only because of the friendly staff, the nice breakfast and the nice garden where the Eden houses are built. Other than that l wouldn’t recommend it. The reasons: (1) the room was insanely small and l couldn’t even unpack my things from the suitcase (2) l asked for two electrical adapters at the reception because in the room l was with my friend and the reception told me that their policy was 1 piece per room (really now??), (3) the room was not so well maintained (the shower button was about to fall and the shower glass panel felt like it was made from paper (4) the dinner menu was quite poor and we didn’t enjoy it, (5) the room descriptions were very poorly presented at hotels.com and when l was trying to book it l couldn’t understand what was the difference between the rooms and the photos were the same. Overall l don’t think it really worths that price.

Based on the pictures we expected much more They were obviously old, and the Bliss hotel has blissfully aged since The hotel needs a good renovation It’s old, and you can see it everywhere The beach is natural, not in a good way Full of decaying sea grass On the brighter note, it has a big potential if the owners invest a bit of TLC in the maintenance The stuff was amazing, helpful and has made our stay so much better Kudos to them

Unfortunately, our experience at Bliss Hotel did not live up to our expectations, especially considering the price. The hotel has potential and a pleasant location, but the lack of maintenance is evident. Our room had a strong smell of damp, stained towels and sheets, a constantly blocked shower drain, a faulty safe and air conditioning that switched on and off by itself. The walls were also covered with droppings from small animals, probably geckos, which were never cleaned during our stay. The staff were friendly and responded quickly whenever we reported an issue, but having to repeatedly report problems clearly shows a lack of proper preventive maintenance. Breakfast was also disappointing: poor-quality products, industrial juices, sliced bread that seemed defrosted, and slow or missing replenishment. The biggest disappointment was the sea-view room we had paid extra for. On arrival, the sea was not visible because palm trees were blocking the view. We were initially told the hotel was fully booked. The trees were finally trimmed two days later, meaning we could not enjoy the view we had paid for during part of our stay. No compensation or gesture was offered. One positive point was the massage therapist, who was excelente. Overall, the value for money was very poor. The hotel needs significant investment in maintenance and cleanliness. For the price, there are better options in Praslin. We would not stay here again or recommend it in its current condition.

Terrible experience! The reality of this hotel is far below what the photos suggest. The facilities are in deplorable condition, the breakfast was disappointing, and the room — the most expensive one in the hotel — was dreadful. Cleanliness is an absolute zero: I even had cockroaches crawling on my body while I was sleeping.

The garden rooms are dark and not really comfortable. The mattress was too hard for us and the rooms are pretty small. The towels and sheets were dirty and the coffee at the breakfast is extremely watery. Overall not a 4 star hotel standard compared to others.

Wir waren im März 2026 als Paar dort und hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht. Dieses war geräumig mit Kühlschrank, Fernseher (nur 1 deutscher Kanal, aber immerhin), Wasserkocher, Safe und Klimaanlage, einer kleinen überdachten Terrasse vor dem Zimmer bzw. Bungalow mit Tisch u. 2 Stühlen, sowie ein Bad. Beanstanden können wir nur, dass die Inneneinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist (Flecken auf dem Lampenschirm, kleine Risse an den Wänden, Armaturen im Bad leicht beschädigt, kein Duschvorhang vorhanden) Das Ganze war aber liebevoll und originell eingerichtet und die Gartenanlage sehr grosszügig und wunderschön. Es gab sogar ein grösseres Gehege mit 12 Riesenschildkröten, die wir jeden Tag besucht haben. Ausserdem zwei schöne Pools mit Sonnenliegen, Dusche & Sonnenschirmen und eine Poolbar, die jeweils nachmittags geöffnet war. Ein kleines, klimatisiertes Fitnesscenter war ebenfalls vorhanden, welches wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Am Strand gab es ebenfalls Sonnenliegen, die man benutzen konnte. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben und umsorgt. Wir hatten das Zimmer nur mit Frühstück gebucht, da es in der unmittelbaren Umgebung (in Gehdistanz 10-15min) auch noch einige andere Restaurants und Foodstände zum Ausprobieren gab. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Wir waren in einem der Bungalows die uns sehr gut gefallen haben, hier war es auch deutlich windstiller als am Penthouse. Abends konnte man daher schön auf der Terasse sitzen. Die Rezeptionisten sind sehr zuvorkommend und helfen einem bei allen Anliegen. Die Pools waren sehr sehr sauber! Das Frühstücksbuffet fällt für deutsche Verhältnissen etwas klein aus, aber für einen soliden Start in den Tag passt das. Das Restaurant für das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir haben hier fast jeden Tag gegessen. Toll fanden wir auch die Schildkröten, bei denne wir jeden Tag mal vorbei geschaut haben. Einzig negativer Punkt: der Strand war voller Seegras Wir hatten hier einne tollen Aufenthalt!

An sich ein wirklich schönes Hotel - nur eine Renovierung wäre mal wieder nötig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses passt hier leider gar nicht. Im Zimmer hat es modrig gerochen und auch die Handtücher waren muffig. Im Juli leider viel Seegras am Strand.

Positiv: Direkt am Strand, perfekter Ausblick wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt. Das Essen im Hotel-Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir haben viele Gerichte aus dem Menü ausprobiert. Zweimal in der Woche gibt es Buffet. Auch Frühstück abwechslungsreich und lecker. Personal sehr nett. Negativ: Klimaanlage pustete direkt ans Bett und die Stärke ist nicht regulierbar. Strand war leider voller Seegras und ständig geflutet. In der Umgebung nichts los. Momentan (Juni 2025) Baustelle direkt nebenan. Ingesamt hat uns dee Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhälnis.

Que dire, un séjour idéal. Un cadre idyllique, des personnes d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours prêts à rendre service, à proposer son aide et à vous fournir le moindre renseignement et autre « bons plans ».
