My husband and I enjoyed ordering food from the restaurant at the hotel and eating on the terrace outside of our room. The chocolate lava cake was especially delicious. The property is a bit dated and the air conditioning was not very effective at keeping the room cool, but our stay was otherwise comfortable. We appreciated that robes were provided in the room.

Air conditioning in my room did not work at all. It was the hottest day in Geneva and I filtered my Expedia search specifically for rooms with air conditioning. I tried calling the front desk to see if I could move but could not get through and since I was only staying for one night, didn’t bother pushing further.

Sehr schöne Umgebung, leider ein paar Minus-Punkte seitens Hotel-Management: 1. Empfang schwach - obwohl 2x online eingescheckt (auf ebookers und auf der Hotel-Seite) war die 1. Frage: Bitte um Ihre persönlichen Daten etc. 2. Gutscheine für welcome-drink: Beim einlösen an der Beach-Bar gibts genau 2 Glas Prosecco - mein grosser Wunsch auf ein Bierchen muss separat bezahlt werden. 3. Trotz kostenpflichtigem Frühstück sind 2 Spiegeleier mit 4 Franken auf der Karte - eine Omelette wird für 8 Franken Zusatzkosten angeboten. Das ist eines 4-Sterne-Hotels nicht würdig. 5. Der See-Zugang ist überhaupt nicht geeignet zum baden - es ist verschlickt und richtig "gruusig". Das liegt zwar nicht direkt am Hotel, aber mindestens wäre ein Hinweis dazu sinnvoll, mit Tipps, so man im See schwimmen gehen kann. 6. Die Mitarbeiter sind grundsätzlich freundlich, jedoch hatten wir das Gefühl, dass sie ziemlich im "Stress" sind. Dies gilt insbesondere für das Service-Personal im Restaurant. Die Qualität der Küche war gut, sogar der Koch hat sich kurz Zeit genommen, die Gäste zu begrüssen. --> Summary: Wir werden für den nächsten Aufenthalt am Lac Léman eine andere Unterkunft suchen und hoffen auf bessere Gastfreundschaft.
