"It was my first time in spain and for someone that doesn’t really speak fluent spanish the staff was very helpful. The taxi service they call is fast and they let us keep our bags in storage for our last day even though we checked out at 12pm our train to madrid wasn’t until 8pm so we were able to walk around without bringing the luggage everywhere"

"This charming boutique hotel is in a great location to the historic center of the area and where the pilgrims finish their Camino de Santiago. The hotel is a beautiful blend of old historic architecture and modern decor. The room was small and worked just fine for us. It also matched the photos online. It was clean, pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked well. The bathroom was good and included a shower. The elevator worked well. The halls were decorated tastefully. I enjoyed the sculpted lamp near a stairway landing. We had breakfast here one day. It was a decent continental breakfast. The front desk staff was helpful, kind, friendly, and worked well with the two of us English speakers. We got great advice to schedule a taxi the night before to get to the train station on time. We really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again. A lovely hotel in a fascinating location."

"Spectacular! Amazing experience! Staying at this wonderful property was the best way to experience Santiago de Compostela. The historic building property is impressive and so beautiful that from the moment you see it, you know you made the right decision to stay in. Staff is welcoming, caring and dedicated professionals. "Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant."
