Very nice resort, close to sall beach, excellent large pool, excellent clearn modern rooms. Location: a bit far from city center and other restaurants but you can just take a cab at low cost.

After changing the first room , was very bad , we got another room , what was well . the food in restaurant was , say well , but I ecpected beter for an hotel like this . people in the reception where very kind .

Its a decent resort style hotel in the Oasis chain. Not particularly close to anything, but thats fine when all you want to do is relax by the pool. There is no beach - beach in Praia is blah, better to go to Sal or Boa Vista for quality beaches. Room was correct, nice balcony overlooking the water and view on Fogo volcano, which was neat! AC worked well, wifi was sometimes spotty but ok in general. Good towels. Front desk staff were helpful and responded to a request to fix the sink to drain properly and refill the soap dispensers (but this should be managed by the housekeeping anyway). Breakfast was very good, large variety of items. Supper was another story entirely - takes AGES to get any attention from a waiter and then another hour to actually get food. All sitting in the dark, because there's very little indoor dining area for supper (that I could see) and the outdoor seating has no practical lighting at all. Pool was nice, but always super windy so basically no use. Also not heated so only good during summer.

The hotel is good but the are a number of little things that were annoying the shower head would not stay in position,one could hear the people in the rooms next door.

Understaffed hotel that needs an upgrade

This is a hotel that needs an upgrade in its overall conditions. I believe most of the staff are hard working/over worked, but the front desk staff appear a little aloof and not very concerned when patrons have a concern or complaint.

We liked the location and view, the service was often overhelmed. The level of service and amenities provided does not match the comparatively high price of the accomodation. The gym was bellow any imaginable standards. To order two drinks at the pool bar took often 45 minutes!

Like other reviews said, they can't seem to handle the basics. Arrived around noon, was told checkin was at 2pm. Came back at 2pm, but had to wait 30 minutes. Others were waiting much longer and every time Iv was in the lobby there were many people waiting that didn't look very happy. This hotel has potential, but not with the current management.

Danger! Protect yourself and Don’t stay here!

On our 2nd day there, someone broke into one of my family members room and took all of their valuables. I found it interesting that they were the only ones in our party to be placed on the 2nd floor. They had a room that was not near the cameras. The hotel had security guards that walked back and forth on the back side of the rooms. If this is the case, how is it that the security guard on duty didn’t see what happened.
