Good: location is ultra close to much of the main touristic attractions like Charles bridge and Klementinum Library, there is a restaurant included that I did not get to try Not so good: The room size was the smallest I have ever stayed in with sloped ceiling and large beam in the middle making it quite closterphobic and always havign to watch your head. And there was some kind of miscommunication with the staff about getting a takeway breakfast as I had mentioned to one staff I had to leave around 4am and the other staff working the night did not know and there was no breakfast prepared. Overall, for the price and the size of the room, I preferred the other hotel in stayed which was in Mala Strana which was better equipped and in a quieter area but if you want to be close to the nightlife, this hotel's location is excellent.

A comfortable place, friendly staff. As a solo traveller I have found this place adequate to my needs. Room was comfortable with en-suite bathroom and very clean will definitely stay here again.

Good: central location, clean bedroom and bathroom. Actual double bed instead of two singles. Bad: small, oddly shaped room. Very basic and tired looking. Front door to room so old, didn't feel the safest. Single glazed window meant I could hear noise from the bars outside. Breakfast very average, not the spread I'm used to travelling in Europe. Worst of all however are the thickness of the walls: woken up in the middle of the night by conversations, then kept awake by snoring in the room next door. Never had anything like it! Awful.

The location was perfect. It is a 2 blocks from St Charles bridge in one direction, and a few blocks from Old Town Square in the other. It is right by restaurants and bars.

Its a nice place in a perfect location. Literally everything is just a step away. The room was bit too small, but the bathroom was spacious. For the price I think it’s fair. There’s no parking in the street, there’s a garage about 1 km from the place for cca 20 EUR/day. The staff was friendly, they helped us to find the garage. Overall it was positive.

Location but not much else
The Pension U Lilie is closer to a hostel than a hotel. The first room I was assigned didn’t feel clean and it was very uncomfortable. The hotel was able to move me to a better room that was comfortable, brighter and cleaner. It’s location is perfect - steps from the Charles Bridge and very near the Old Square so if location is your top priority, this would work for you. I would be looking for something different another time

Well Licated
This hotel is very central to the Charles Bridge and Old Town. The staff were helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was usual for Europe (cold cuts, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice etc) enough to get your day started. I opted for half board which is like bed and breakfast and another meal - you had the choice of lunch or dinner. As a so traveller I enjoyed having dinner in their courtyard I was on the third floor and it was warm even with a floor fan. The weather in Prague was hot and dry during my stay. Other than that this is a good priced, well located small hotel.

Nice & quiet hotel located within the Old Town!
Hotel staff were nice and friendly. The breakfast was not fantastic but descent with adequate variety of food and drinks. I like the room being so separated from other rooms, feels like our own little unit! The location was perfect, located within the Old Town and the Old Town square was just within 5mins walk!

Close to Charles Bridge, good for a short stay
Being close to Charles Bridge is a big advantage. However, the facilities really need to be improved. As a tall person, I was quite uncomfortable in my room, and did not sleep too well. In terms of sound, the walls are thin and I could here the next door people. In addition, because I was on the highest floor in the pension combined with the fact that it was 85 degrees Fahrenheit in Prague at my time staying, the room was DANGEROUSLY hot!!!! The level of humidity in the rooms is something that the pension should take into consideration as this is a serious safety hazard especially for people with medical conditions. I almost passed out during my last night; the fan/AC that was provided barely need its job and I had to ask the staff for an additional one. I am giving this place three stars because its livable in the short term and is convenient in terms of the location, otherwise it would have been a two.

Basic accommodation but good location
Very central location but there are pubs/restaurant close by as well as in the Hotel so be aware that there is some noise. That said it didn't cause us any problems. Our room was large but the décor was worn and dated and the furniture was sparse however the bed was comfortable enough and the room was clean, and the broken shower fitting was repaired the same day that I reported it so couldn't fault the service in that respect. Wi-Fi worked in the room ok but don't expect many English speaking tv channels if that's your thing, we only had news channels in English. Elevator only goes to 2nd floor so if you need that make sure to let them know when booking. Buffet breakfast wasn't great, little choice.

Great location, but . . .
Perfect location 3 min. walk from the Chas. Bridge; relatively quiet street, but if your room is on the 2nd or higher floor facing the noisy courtyard, as was mine, that's a problem. The whole place is very tired and needs a through cleaning and spruce up. My room was furnished in Early Thrift Store, not very comfortable nor functional. It wasn't especially clean either, although the bathroom was good. Breakfast Buffet is so-so, and not available before 8 a.m. Choices include room temperature canned fruit cocktail. The staff are quite nice. I would not, however, stay here again.

I've taken my family out. Location is excellent Just beside Charles Bridge. 2 minutes to old Town Square, Staroměstské underground and mini market. Room was big. Breakfast was good. Very helpful reception. They provide me baby bed. Our bed was very comfortable. Negative point will be the wooden floor creates lots of noise and small lift. Overall price versus stay is money worthy.

This proved to be an excellent location for me as I was working at both DAMU and HAMU. Just away from the impossible throng of Karlova but with plenty of opportunity for dipping in and out of that madness. Room was compact but the water was hot and the room was clean. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Nice hotel with great location
The hotel is on busy road next to Charle's bridge but not so noisy from road outside because of it's located in another small road. Great location, we can walk to Charle's bridge and there are a lot of restaurants, souvenir shops, and actually lot of landmarks in Prague. There's elevator which is helpful with our 30 kgs luggage. Good breakfast, nice staff. Clean room& bathroom.

Staff were super great. Our 2 rooms were inferior: street noise (old windows, not sound-proof), tight space for getting into bed, no phone. Breakfast buffet: good except for terrible eggs and coffee.

We stayed on the third level which gave us a good sized room with a skylight in the bathroom. Some of the rooms have posts in odd places. You might want to look at a few rooms if you have the option. The elevator which is quite small goes to the second floor. We were content to walk the three flights..

Although it was a relatively short stay, I had a nice time at this hotel/guesthouse. It's definitely a great value for your money and the location is superb. It's about a 5 minute walk to Old Town Square and only a minute's walk to restaurants and shops (although they're mostly aimed towards tourists and you can easily find better food elsewhere). The room was very small but clean. The only issue I had was that the curtains were sheer and very see-through from the outside of the room. Overall I had a good stay.

Great little hotel in a perfect location. Staff were great beds comfy. Only downside was lack of Air Cond. probably only necessary in summer but street noise with windows open kept us awake. Still, we would definitely stay here again.

Smack bang right near Charles Bridge I cannot fault the location. Room was clean, breakfast reasonable. The most admirable thing about this hotel is the staff who are all very warm, helpful, friendly and good English-speakers.

Central Prague hotel stay
Very convenient for all the touristy stuff in the city, all within reasonable walking distance. Public transport for more distant attractions also close by. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.
