The owner, Jimmy, was such a delightful and gracious host! He made me feel so welcome and safe! The hotel is like an old fashioned rooming house - not super fancy but perfect for crashing in after a long day of touring around with friends and family. The bedrooms are upstairs and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The fridge/freezer, coffee/tea and microwave facilities are in a shared space in hall between the bedrooms. It was exactly what I needed. Safe, clean, quiet, strong Wi-Fi, working a/c, hot shower all on Main Street in the heart of Cold Spring. Jimmy runs a neighborhood cafe downstairs and is a warm and welcoming presence to all who pass by on the sidewalk. He showed me where to park for free and couldn't have been friendlier. There are literally dozens of cafes, art studios, coffee, pizza and ice cream shops, boutiques and the Hudson River within a a few minutes walk. Thank you, Jimmy!

Main Street hotel

Comfortable room on the second floor, up some steep steps from the street. No lobby, but the host runs the cafe and seems to be there all day. Very convenient location for exploring Cold Spring and local hiking trails.
