「Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10.」

「The property was ideal for our needs and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the booking experience through Expedia was abysmal. We were told the property was unavailable, which was untrue. We were offered an alternative of a 3-bed property which supposedly had 6 double beds. Photos on the Expedia website show this is also untrue.」

「A lovely small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a lovely position close to the beach. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing.」

「On the whole this was a really comfortable stay in a very practical apartment and a great location. The only issue I had is that there was a tiny amount of toilet paper provided and no washing up liquid at all, and I rang the out of hours Service and left two messages, no one responded to me and they still haven’t responded to me after my trip! Nonetheless, I would recommend this place to stay and I would stay again.」

「It was all very good, we asked for a chair for the room and got one straight away. Towels were changed every day and it was all very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, all served fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Inn, the only thing I will mention is that we thought we were staying in Bideford, not realising the Hotel was in Westward Ho but it wasn't a problem.」

「The Sailors Rest is in a good location within Appledore,close to the main car park. The room was clean, as was the communal access. The view from Room 3 was excellent. A shaver point and shelf in the bathroom would be really helpful, but other than that everything was fine.」
