The view was amazing and there was a beach nearby and the kids loved the playground. Well worth a visit just for the view. That being said, I’m 6”1’ and average build and everything was so small. My feet hung off the bed. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen, I couldn’t get into the shower without rubbing on cold glass and my knees rubbed the wall while on the toilet. The shower hot water worked but not the kitchen sink. The clothes washer worked but the dryer did not and we lost 2 Euro trying to get it to work. Never saw anyone in the office to assist or get our money back. The nearby restaurant wasn’t open the entire time we were there either.

Overall a good stay with minor issuesl

This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble.

Schöne Unterkunft direkt am Pier, unglaublich tolle Lage. Ein bisschen wenig Geschirr war vorhanden. Betten waren bequem. Wir waren leider in Apartment 8, das liegt direkt am Parkplatz.

Fantastic location right on the beach, easy access and parking and only steps away the the pub/restaurant in Portsalon. Good shower, spacious living and kitchen area, TV and a nice little terrace to sit and watch the world go by. I stayed here many years ago and given the long journey to Portsalon they were kind enough to provide tea/coffee/milk. Yet it seems they no longer do this, albeit there was an old tin of coffee although totally unusable as it had oxidised solid. So, be prepared for your stay and drop off at the little Blaney Stores supermarket in Kerrykeel to buy your tea/coffee, bread, butter, groceries etc. It's not the cheapest stay, so maybe they may reconsider and provide a few home comforts for your arrival in the future.

The apartment is literally 2mins walk to the beach / pub / restaurant & shop our apartment has its own secure parking and our balcony had a view like no other absolutely beautiful and arriving during a heat wave just topped it off. We had a fantastic time and hope to return sometime in the very near future
