Conveniently located / highly recommend

This apartment was conveniently located. Ana & David were great hosts. Ana assisted w/ the arrangement of transportation to/from train station. Apartment had good amenities & we opted for apartment with large balcony. Shower head needed a little work as it wouldn't stay up and light/ fan over stove wasn't working, but otherwise all was good.

We had a wonderful time in Porto. Property was easy to access, clean and well decorated. I will highly recommend to stay at Simon's Guest Apartment. Owner is very coperative and helpful. We arrived early and they allowed us to leave the lauggages in the office.

Good but could use some improvements

Good location within walking distance of most things you'd want to do as a tourist. Comfortable and nice to have an outdoor space, even though there is really no view but a roof and parking lot. The kitchen could've been better furnished - dish cloths, maybe some cooking oil, salt pepper etc. Our host was late meeting us to let us in which is annoying when you're out on the street with your luggage.

Great location and easy access to old town

Ana was a fantastic host. We made a few requests and she was able to help us with all of it. We had a small issue with the internet that was fixed by her very lovely husband immediately! The location is perfect and the recommendations for dining were awesome! We had an incredible dinner very near by at a degustation restaurant for only 35 euro each. The apartment is modern, clean and very user friendly. The beds were comfy. I would recommend this to anyone and Ana and the recommendations were perfect!

Stayed here for a conference in Super Bock arena, and it was easily walkable to the arena. Ana was amazing and very helpful with orienting us to Porto. We got one room for the two of us, and another for our two teenaged boys, so there was plenty of space. We did run out of toilet paper and ended up buying more from a grocery store, which was very close. Some things to note: The hand soap in the bathroom was also a shampoo and body wash, so we needed to take it to and from the shower several times; there were not any extra pillows or towels; the air conditioners (wall units) worked very well, and we stayed cool even though it was quite hot outside.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Apartment. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood. I especially appreciated the communication with Ana . We missed our flight and were delayed a day, she was very accommodating and understanding in constant contact with me trying to arrange a airport transport, morning or night she was there to reassure me. The only secure thing I felt about our travels up to that point . Then we were very pleased to meet our driver Fransico, friendly and kind advising us on everything to make our stay comfortable and doable . He went on to drive us to the train station the next day and shared with us his person ambition to someday have his own travel business. I wish him all the luck and success. If you are a woman traveling alone, you can be at peace knowing Ana and Fransico truly care and our supportive . I’d like to return and definitely would stay at this same location . Walking distance to town, lots of places to eat , shop, little further from port but the Funicular helps with the incline . I can’t say it was quite only because there happened to be a private party going on next door . But I don’t think it’s a regular occurrence. No bars or clubs just a special event , I mean it was a Saturday night after all . I highly recommend Simon Apartments for your Porto stay.

We did not get the cleaning on day 3 as promised on the homepage. There were no toiletries and shampoo as described on hotels.com hotels.com. - there was a used soap bar in the shower . noisy location,but close to the city. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped. It did not meet my expectations- and definitely not luxurious .

An ideal place for a short break in lovely Porto

It’s a beautiful apartment. Very spacious with lots of storage. There was 2 of us and more than enough room. It was all very clean when we got there. Ana is a very helpful and caring host, who met us at the door and generously gave us lots of information about Porto. The communication was quick, welcomed us in and was very informative. The location was ideal for us but involved a lot of walking- especially to the river but that’s to be expected in Porto. The transport links from the apartment were close by if wanting to go further a field.

Everything was perfect starting from the location,close to the city center, to the staff. Brand new spacious apartments.

My wife, 2.5 year old daughter and I arrived in Porto for a 3 night stay and had an absolute blast, in part due to the very comfortable stay at Simon Apartments. Ana did her absolute best to welcome us (even helped with our luggage and the stroller). She did her very best to ensure we have a pleasant stay.

Excellent location, it is a quiet neighborhood; an artist collective area where they make and sell (high end) affordable quality goods. Many excellent restaurants within 10-15 minute walk. The apt. was spacious, modern; very large living room with a sleeper couch, air conditioning, washer/dryer (bonus!), eat-in kitchen comfortable for two people. Two twin beds that were separated, but could be moved together as a queen-sized bed. Coffee machine, dishes, glasses/cups, silverware; and a few items for actual cooking. Ana was amazing! She gave tips on the area, places to eat, and information on the area. As a reference, the apt. is only a 15 min. walk to the Douro River. Highly recommend!

Simons Guest House ist klein und cozy , wie es sich in der stadt gehört der charme ist überragend und mit der kleinen dachterasse kaum zu übertreffen. Ich war mit meiner Mutter ubd meinen 2 Söhnen zu besuch. Uns hat es an nichts gefällt und wir wurden auch während des aufenthalts gefragg pb wir nocv handtücher oder hilfe brauchen..auch der späte check in war kein problem und der partner hat uns dort empfangen und geholfen mit den koffern. Essenstipps und ausflugstipps inklusive . Waren sehr begeistert und würden es gerne wieder buchen
