It was an excellent stay. Staff was very friendly and the beds were very cozy. Everything is pretty walkable from here as well. Many options to eat, shop, take pictures at, etc. Highly recommend it!
Hostel is very clean and sheets were changed daily if you want to. Front desk staff is very helpful as well and helped me discover the city. Location is great - everything of interest in Porto city is about a mile or so away. Will definitely stay here again if in town!
Hostel is all gender bathrooms which is ok but toilets has a smell of Pooh. Floors creek, rooms was clean, bed comfy and staff very helpful. Area was great, center of attraction to shopping, food, walking tours.
The hostel is on a main shopping street of Porto, but it is not noisy at night. I like the mattress and curtain of the bed. That makes sure that I had very good sleep there. Yeah and the hostel is very clean. Absolutely a nice place to stay in Porto.
I booked a double room with bathroom. This was in a separate block overlooking the rear courtyard. Room was pleasant, spacious and clean, fittings were to a moderately good, basic standard. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location for shopping etc., and a 1km walk into town.
Really comfortable bed and cosy duvet cover. I stayed in a room for 12 people and it was very spacious.
The building is very pretty too inside. The only minus would be that they don't serve breakfast or have a bag storage.
Bring your own padlock and slippers, the shower is not too fresh because some people don't know how to clean after themselves...
Wonderful nice staff, beautiful facility, the best
I stayed twice in this hostel. If they had more availability, I would have stayed more days.
First time, Carlos checked me in, he insisted to help me carrying luggage up, as he can see I have problem with my legs, even though he was busy. Second time, Edida checked me in, she also offered to carry my luggage up.
Beside nice staff, this is also a beautiful facility, large kitchen, plenty toilets and showers, most impressive is the backyard, this hostel is located in the city center, but the backyard is so nice, open, and quiet.
I can not say enough good about this hostel. I will certainly stay again if available when I visit Porto again.

Amazing place! So well decorated, clean and the staff were so friendly. The kitchen facilities were great, and it was very very easy to make friends. The terrace is gorgeous and has a social vibe. I was in the 12 person room, but managed to get a good nights sleep each night. The beds felt very private and were comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here !
I was bitten all over by bed bugs. Staff reluctant to help or be honest about it being an ongoing problem there. Had to push really hard for a refund even though I showed them the bites and a bed bug on the sheet. Totally unethical and unacceptable to keep selling beds to the public with a painful serious health hazard like this.
Great location, walkable and public transportation friendly. Lots of restaurants, fresh market and supermarket in the area. Great, attentive staff. Clean accomodations. Big clean kitchen. Nice outdoor and indoor common areas.
However, difficult to sit up in bed as your head hits the bottom of the upper bunk. I'm 5'6" and had to bend at the neck. Also, the bottom bunks are almost on the floor.
My bunk was on the 2nd floor (43 steps up). This would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues or heavy luggage as there's no elevator.
Moved to 3 beds in female dormitory, same😢 I got bitten by bed bugs the whole time. As I am writing these my hands are swollen, ruin my Portugal trip..I still have a week to go..with bite marks very visible on neck and face! Not to mention my right legs and back! I asked and noticed on the other girls too..bed bug bites everywhere on them..I’m not so lucky..I got it on my face and neck..other girls they got it on back, arm and legs which can be covered by clothes! With mixed washroom there is always that smell!
