"The hotel is in a good location, close to everything and even has a gas station right next door, very convenient. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The property outside is well maintained and clean with ample parking. They have breakfast with a sit down service, decent menu, tasty food and fairly large servings. You can pay at the time if service or charge it to your room and the prices are average. The pool area was clean and roomy. The pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed both very much. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was great, our double room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the hotel needs an update desperately, it is older and it shows but we would definitely stay again. oh and the room rates we're one of the lowest in the area!"

"Aloft has a good location on the edge of the Old Port district and is convenient and walkable. Parking is available for an extra fee in an adjacent parking garage. The staff was friendly and the rooms were well kept. The loft-style rooms probably aren't for everyone since the bathroom doesn't offer much privacy from the rest of the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is an area to hang clothes but no closet, which is fine for 1 or 2 nights but might be an issue for longer term visits. The fitness center was acceptable. There is a small shop in the lobby for buying drinks and snacks, although the prices are very inflated ($6 for a soda?). There is a bar area open but no meals beyond snacks offered. If I were to stay in the area again I might choose this hotel if the price was lower than others, but if I was looking for more amenities and comfort I might choose another."

"Embassy Suites always deliver and the Portland, Me location was a top 5 visit. Great facility, clean, all staff were super nice and helpful and the food breakfast and dinner was awesome! We had trouble finding a hotel, and almost didn’t take this location due to the airport. Great location and we never heard anything, not even the jets at the airport. So glad we stayed with Embassy Suites, we’d stay here again while in Portland, ME."
