「Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.」

「The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. 「Good location...off street parking with supermarket across road.Our unit was recently redecorated by the look and presented clean and tidy.Room serviced each day as well.Having 2 TVs was an added bonus.」

「It was everything we required for a one night stay , it provided kitchen facilities that enabled a meal to be cooked. It is very well situated and easy to find right next to the main motorway from Auckland however there were no eateries that we found close hence the meal cooking 」

We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room.
