Very comfortable little break

The hotel is quiet despite being on a main road. We did not hear the other guests yet it was quite full. The roof terrace with the swimming pool was spectacular, getting the sun for longer than the beaches around here being high up. A great place to start our holiday.

We loved the hotel. The breakfast was great and the location on a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from Collioure. Collioure, btw, is a fantastic village charming and with great food.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Leider war unser Aufenthalt eine große Enttäuschung. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich lediglich den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Er war neu, sehr freundlich, engagiert und konnte persönlich nichts für die Situation. Das erste Zimmer, das wir erhalten haben, war sehr klein und erinnerte mit seinem winzigen Dachfenster eher an ein Dachgeschosszimmer. Beim Betreten fiel uns sofort ein sehr unangenehmer, urinähnlicher Geruch auf. Außerdem wirkte das Zimmer staubig und nicht sauber, sodass wir uns dort überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt haben. Nachdem wir dies an der Rezeption gemeldet hatten, bekamen wir zwar ein anderes, barrierefreies Zimmer. Doch auch dort war der Zustand für uns nicht zufriedenstellend. Es roch ebenfalls sehr unangenehm, sodass wir uns auch in diesem Zimmer nicht wohlgefühlt haben und uns entschieden, dort ebenfalls nicht zu bleiben. Letztendlich haben wir das Hotel noch am selben Abend – etwa 30 Minuten nach unserer Ankunft – wieder verlassen und uns kurzfristig ein anderes Hotel gesucht. Die Nacht mussten wir zunächst sogar im Auto verbringen, bis wir eine Alternative gefunden hatten. Obwohl Expedia sich eingesetzt hat, eine Rückerstattung war hier leider Fehlanzeige. Ich finde, ein Hotel sollte Zimmer in diesem Zustand nicht an Gäste vermieten. Das entsprach leider überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen und war für uns eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich hoffe, dass hier künftig mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit und Qualität gelegt wird.

Menage de la chambre oublié. Petit déjeuner médiocre, certainement pas au niveau d'un Ibis style et à peine au niveau d'un ibis budget. Le bain de pied appelé piscine au dernier etage a surement permis cette fausse évaluation en gamme. Vue sur le parking du Liddl. Cela permet d'y garer sa voiture vu que le parking de l'hôtel est également insuffisant.
