I enjoyed being in a nice quiet environment. The room was very cozy but comfortable. I loved having access to many cable channels that allowed me to watch my sports. I loved the local flavor where rooms were named after local birds. Although it was a short stay I felt very much at home.

Great pool side room

Having a pool side room was fantastic. Pool was clean and pleasant. Check in fine. Friendly/helpful staff. Security system is like Fort Knox 😂 Just bare in mind if going on an early morning tour you may have to arrange with staff to set the gate to open as otherwise you're locked in between 11pm and 6am.

Kiskadee Korner is a safe, clean and friendly property in the St Clair neighbourhood of Port of Spain. I felt so reassured by the staff’s friendly approach to ensuring a pleasant stay and of course my safety. I appreciated them being there for me late at night when my flight arrived, and also the WhatsApp number they had should I need anything. I really appreciated their communication prior to my arrival to ensure I had a seamless stay. The dual gate system was also a comforting feature of the property, and I also really enjoyed the pool and the tranquility of the property. The pool was by far one of the cleanest pools I have ever enjoyed in all of my travels, and overall the property is pristine and beautifully appointed. The staff will also recommend a reputable transfer company for you should you need one, and I found their recommendation to be incredibly professional and safe. I overall really enjoyed my stay at Kiskadee Korner and I would absolutely return and of course recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this beautiful and safe part of Port of Spain near shops and restaurants to enjoy.

The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. It makes you feel you're in the right place if you want to be close to downtown, but not to close. The pool is perfect for couples or small groups of friends. Children are not allowed so you could definitely go there either to work or to rest. The staff will simply guide you through every process or need that you might have during the stay. They are in continuous contact with guests without being annoying but letting you know every detail you should know. The security is amazing, you'll feel so save and you won't see not even one guard at the property. I strongly recommend this property if you want to spend a joyful stay, being save but having a natural contact with Trinidad and ists people.

This place is like a concentration camp one does not have the freedom to come an go as you please at night you have to go through 2 gates one that’s open to 11pm after that time someone has to let you in in do understand the concept of safety but I can’t understand why grown persons should not be able to come and go at they own will . Also the gates does not open until 6 am you can not get out before that time , I was told that the gates are set to that time and can not be change if not it will off set the programming that’s set madness what about the needs of the guest and the freedom to leave what if they is an emergency and one has to leave before 6Am The head lady at the office is like a dictator she has to be in control at all times. She wants to do it all herself and talks to persons like they are little children I’m a property manager myself and i understand the importance of team work as a coach I also understand the importance of being a leader and how to step back and let others develop , I will be honed the place is very clean great job. One of the other things that can be improved is condiment, the salt and pepper shakers were empty tea was not replaced in the room a spoon fill of sugar in a little container and lumpy creamer by the way no coffe but creamer I’m lost yes I know you will say it’s a self contained room but it was a weekend of Easter and very little around I back home thank god I’m free.

Kiskadee Korner's levels of professionalism and communication are second to none. I enjoy the quiet ambience of the hotel as well as the manner in which the staff communicate and handle all matters. Personally, I prefer to deal with matters in a digital space (limited person-to-person interaction) and Kiskadee does this flawlessly. However, I must state, with respect to person-to-person interaction, Kiskadee also handles this excellently. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Basically a room not a hotel

Sign on entrance to property says Boutique Hotel. Neither of those words are correct. Before arriving bombarded with messages and requests have never had anywhere else except Air BnB. Nobody at front desk for checkout or most of time. 'Hotel' was empty. On arriving room safe did not work and they would not fix it or move me to room with working room safe. Response was to have me unpack and setup and they would see the next day about another room. That never came and anyway would have required repacking. At least at a short term rental there is a kitchen or something more than a room.
