"This was a great hotel in a really good location for exploring this part of Sardinia. Our room was a really good size (we had a deluxe room) and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is lovely. Although the pool area is small it’s a lovely relaxing space and we had no trouble getting loungers - despite other reviews commenting on this. It’s a nice luxury to have a rooftop pool in a city. The rooftop bar has stunning views over the marina to have a cocktail and watch the sun set. The food in Ceilo (rooftop) was very good but I was a bit disappointed that the lunch and evening menu were the same. We made use of the beach club that the hotel recommends and really enjoyed visiting Poetta beach which is beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Great location in the city. Walkable from the train station. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good choice buffet breakfast. Good size room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Can be noise at night as expected for a city hotel. Use earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There are a few steps from street level to reception. Hotel has lift."

"Janna e Mare is perfectly located to explore Cagliari. Our room was nice and spacious and sofa bed and double bed were very comfortable. Cafe nearby where we had discount for breakfast was fantastic. The only issue we had the whole stay was the noise of some of the plumbing at night, but that is no fault of the owners. Luca also went above and beyond to sort out a room issue for us. Would definitely highly recommend."

"This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had many options. Unfortunately there was one flaw and that was the weird garbage smell on entering our room every time. Oddly we quickly became accustomed to it after a few minutes. We did note it to the front desk."
