「My room was the first room in the corridor. The corridor was having a door which was heavy. Each time people came in or went out through the corridor, the door slamming loudly. One morning, other guests might need to catch a very early morning flight, and woke me up. Other than the door all other things were good. Staff were friendly.」

「This is a lovely hotel in a convenient location. The art work around the property is incredible! Having a pub and cafe onsite is a bonus. Don't miss seeing the art gallery that houses fantastic local art.」

「Expectations were high because of the four stars, but in the end it’s a middle class hotel. Reception lobby area very disorganized, the rooms basic but good.」

「The Pioneer Inn is an older property which appears from the outside to have seen better days.
However the friendly new owners are upgrading the interior. Our room was spacious & the beds were lovely. The floors were redone with new flooring , bathrooms vanity. etc.
The restaurant which is run by the hotel owners has delicious Asian food.
I enjoyed the beautifully presented tempura.」
