The room was great, great location close to everything and staff were great but we stayed in the room furthest from the bar. Wifi wouldn’t work anywhere in room except bathroom and TV didn’t stream as a result which was super annoying

The room was incredibly opulent and spotless. It was uncomplicated to check in and the location was convenient due to the nearby restaurants, cafes, and beaches. which were only a 2-5 min walk. The beds were of premium quality and comfortable. However the tap water tasted very weird, and as a result we had to purchase spring water from the local IGA. Additionally the sink was incredibly unsuitable for the kettle, as the it could not fit in the sink and therefore required cups to manually fill it. We had 2 night and had fun there.

Great overnight choice. No fuss check in, room neat, tidy and clean, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery supplied. Bathroom was excellent size, looks recently renovated. Plenty of room for toiletries etc Adjoining pub was great, its the oldest continually licensed pub in Australia. Meals were good, place was quite busy when we were there. Be aware it is part of a hotel that has music Fri & Sat nights, so if you are looking for somewhere quiet this is probably not for you.

Wow - what an unexpected surprise stumbling across The Caledonian Inn! Felt like I was in the UK with the old world charm of a country pub. The motel room was clearly just renovated with a quality fit out and little attention to details. Loved it.

This was a good and convenient lodge attached to a pub next door. Note that the reception closes by 10pm, so make sure you get in early if you're driving! The staff was also friendly and helpful with suggestions for the town.

These rooms might have been either rooms for guests or stables for horses for the guests staying at this hotel many years ago, either way they have been refurbished and are very clean and modern inside, just a little small. The amenities were the usual offerings with tea, coffee and biscuits, a toaster was also offered, I must remember to bring a few slices of bread next time. Perhaps just a small offering of some cereal would be a nice touch, it would be very little cost, but it would make such a difference to most people who don't want a big breakfast.
