「Belle surprise」

「This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie! 」

「Wonderful accommodation and hosts, ideal for a trip to Ypres. Easy walking distance to the Yorkshire Trench. Ypres is only a couple of miles down the road. Our hosts were fantastic and the breakfast plentiful. Expansive views over the surrounding area. Very much recommended.」

「It's not front of the beach and not a chain hotel. But it pays more than back by the rooms within a family owned historic villa and unique atmosphere. Nice and clean rooms. Sustainable environment. Parking on site.Delicious breakfast selection and charming friendly people around you. Great place for holidays at De Panne / Middelkerke / Westende / Ostende / Oostende / De Haan etc. Pubs and Restaurant nearby. Tram nearby. You can walk to the beach...we mostly took the car :)」

「Séjour remarquable dans cette chambre d'hôte. Chambre magnifique, très spacieuse, cosy et très joliment décorée. Il y avait aussi un petit coin détente avec bouilloire et machine à café à notre disposition. Literie impeccable. La maison des propriétaires est magnifique, situation géographique ( plein centre ville) sans nuisance sonore, à la frontière Belge. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse, très accueillants, au petit soin pour nous et c'est avec bonheur que nous avons partagé...
