Excellent stay. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night before heading to Geres but the longer stay would have been very nice too.

Hotel Fonte Velha

We stayed 2 days at this hotel in our vacation. We had a nice spacious room with view to the river. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Parking next to the hotel. A good starting point when exploring this part of Portugal.

Great hotel. All renovated. Great breakfast for 10 Euros. Staff were great. The beds were confortable. However they put 2 singles together. Usually hotel would put a special cover so you Don’t feel as much the separation vêtements both beds. This was not the case. This should be fixed. Also the sheets were not confortables. Rough and too thin. And no extra blankets available in the room.

Room was great, so clean, so roomy. The staff was great and breakfast excellent. And we love the cats next door to property. Beautiful cats and need to be cared for. If hotel set up a donation box at check in, this money could be used to neuter and vaccinate at local vet. Many people loved the cats as us and would donate for sure

The hotel is situated by a beautiful bridge over a river. The room was ok, but the carpet under the bed was encased in sharp metal which hurt the feet. The sheet was not wide enough to cover the bed and I was quite cold.

El hotel es precioso, situado al lado del paseo del río, en el centro del pueblo. Está muy cuidado. Por ponerle una pega: ya estaba con el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones a las 08:45 hrs, en domingo, y nos despertaron.
