"Great location in the middle of down town Walking distance from everything in the city and very convenient to get a bus of taxi to go anywhere. The ladies at the front desk was very friendly and the building was secured with an on site security offficer"

"Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Dominica. Beyond the great onsite restaurants, the wonderful spa, beautiful rooms and outstanding views of the water and the mountains, were the lovely and engaging team members from the attendants that greeted you to the front desk to every member of the resort, all were friendly and helpful. "The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself needs some major improvements, especially the room. The AC was leaking, leaving a puddle of water on the floor, and there weren’t enough towels to soak it up. The couch and chairs were very worn out, when you sit down, you sink right into them, and the tables and counters were peeling at the bottom. There were several other small issues that could use attention as well. Overall, it’s a very beautiful hotel with so much potential, and we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the wonderful staff. "
