St. Mary; the parish church of Polstead This church has been gradually enlarged since it was first built by the Normans. It is believed that some of the bricks used in its construction are the oldest British bricks in existence. Their size proves them not to be Roman.

Facilities were good, room was clean - a little disappointment with the bed, as it was just two single beds pushed together. Everything else was fine.
