Dated 70's style hotel close to a noisy beech

Dated hotel, terrible customer service, room not cleaned for 2 days and even then we had to ask several times, asked to sit at a dirty table at breakfast on day one ignored every morning after that, hard to get a coffee at breakfast let alone a hot one, terrible attitude of majority of staff. Room was ok, when cleaned. Would definitely not recommend to English visitors, probably okay for Italian Nationals

Hotel per famiglie

Ho usato l'hotel come base per visitare la Basilicata in compagnia di amici. Camere spaziose e ottima pulizia. Servizi generalmente disorganizzati sopperiti dalla buona volontà del personale. Organizzazione tarata sul target famiglia in vacanza, colazione, pranzo, cena ad orari fissi che mediamente usa poco il bar. Quest'ultimo è la vera maglia nera dell'hotel: sprovvisto un giorno anche dell'acqua naturale. Deve in sostanza fare un salto di qualità notevole nella gestione dei servizi per meritarsi le 4 stelle con le quali si presenta.

Breve soggiorno di 3 giorni per matrimonio

Siamo stati con mia moglie e mia figlia presso l 'Orohotel lo scorso agosto poiché si sposavsa un amico in zona. .Siamo rimasti piacevolmente soddifatti sotto ogni profilo posizione, personsle, pulizia..lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che vogliono trascorrere una vacanza in assoluto relax

Hotel molto pulito, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

camera molto pulita, staff molto disponibile, wifi da migliorare ( era un po' lento). Buona colazione.

Pleasant Stay & Friendly Staff

A nice, clean, hotel with a friendly staff located within minutes of downtown Policoro, Matera. Reasonable hotel rate, with a an excellent dinning room. The owner will go out of his way ensure you have a great stay, including making arrangements for dinner within the areas restaurants, driving you, and picking you up.

Breakfast - too much dessert items, bread limit, often no fruit.So this was the negative part. Otherwise rooms were nice, quite. Pool area nice and clean.

Tutto sommato, e alla luce della scarsa qualità del cibo (io e mia moglie abbiamo cenato x 3 volte in hotel) anche alla colazione, non merita le Vs. 4 stelle. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono, però consiglio di non utilizzare il ristorante (carne e pesce surgelati, fritti strafreddi, quasi assenza di scelta sulle verdure,ecc...).

Understand your guests

Maybe it was too early in the season but my stay at the Orahotel was mixed. The room was spacious and clean. Good, comfortable bed. The downside was that the internet never worked in my three days there even though they said they were working on it. Also, I recommend do not get a room by the pool. While it was pretty to look at, they pump music through the poolside speakers day and night.
