"Easy check in, rooms a little dated and a bit noisy at night "

"Our unit was a stand alone cottage, very spacious and very clean. We used the town as a launching point for some hiking expeditions and found its location to be perfect. It is located smack dab in the middle of everything. A four minute walk to the grocery store. There were a large number of cafes and bakeries to choose from within five minutes of us and the city info centre was located next to us. We would not hesitate to return."

"Room was basic but clean and tidy. Quiet location although thin walls between units. Swimming pool was far too hot for our liking. Staff friendly and helpful."

"I stayed in the dome Deluxe Tent and I was truly amazed at this accommodation! The lakefront view was gorgeous to wake up to. I like that there was a mini fridge and kettle with tea/coffee in the room. Also, the couch was very comfy and I was able to borrow a DVD from the office to watch that evening. There was a lot of parking by the dome and the cooking area was clean with enough dishes and utensils."

"Quiet and well set up. Enjoyed cooking dinner on the communal bbq and eating on the patio out back. It was lovely."

"Staff are lovely. Recommend requesting ground floor for accessibility or if travelling with children as there’s no elevator. Indoor pool/hot tub were great. Hotel is older but has free parking (small spaces/laneway but still fit our truck), washing machines/dryers (extra $), and well stocked full kitchen. Aircon in living room only and blackout curtains still let some light through (consider for baby naps, etc). Right on lake terrace and an easy 5min stroll into town. Would definitely stay here again, especially for Ironman. "

"Spacious studio room clean and comfy with all you really need including use of bbq. Property close to lake and some rooms overlooking it. Enjoyed hiring bikes to explore the lovely lake. Liked hot tub and nice gardens. "
