"Lac rose not so rose anymore… a pity… the hotel is basic, but good enough for a night or two. As Senegal is known for taking a longer Eid, morning service was a bit late"

"I arrived to be informed that they no longer take online bookings and therefore my expedia booking was invalid. They said that they maybe could organise a room for later that evening but I would have to pay cash immediately if I wanted it. I left and found an alternative and have applied for a refund. The staff at the hotel were friendly but very clear that if you online book they doi not consider it a reservation."

"Every part of the stay was amazing. I had an issue with mosquitoes on day 1, but I sprayed my room with Deet and the problem was resolved. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again the next time I'm in Senegal. "

"My stay at Azalail Hotel Dakar was exceptional! The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and cozy, and the location was very convenient. But what really stood out was the amazing food,every meal was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the dining experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and top-quality cuisine. I’ll definitely be back!"

"Comfortable room, great location and view at a reasonable price. Most of the amenities (such as the restaurant and bar) are next door, but it’s about a 20 foot walk so not much of an imposition. I especially appreciated the layout of the elevators. They opened into a waiting area and you walk out of that to find the rooms. This cuts down a ton on noise from people walking out of the elevator and taking a minute to reduce the volume of their conversation. This isn’t a 5-star hotel, but I’m giving it five stars because it fulfilled expectations"

"Great quality price ratio. It was conveniently next to an excellent brunch restaurant and very close to the lighthouse restaurant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The road leading up to the building is not paved due to ongoing construction and unclearly marked on google maps but this is a minor issue. "
