The location is NOT for a family! The property sits along a winding road that is a thoroughfare with very few sidewalks and places to eat. The listing looks beautiful and serene, with very few amenities and very shoddy internet. My husband had to work while on vacation, and the internet would connect for a minute or two and then disconnect. We were provided with minimal essentials (1 towel per person, body wash, kitchen soap and sponge, and 4 coffee pods) for a 4-night stay.
The most challenging situation was the shower. There is no lip around the shower to hold the water in, and the drain was very slow. They do provide a squeegee, and I know why, so I help scoop the water in before it drains into the bathroom and the hallway. For a family of 4, it was not working, and we were more concerned about an accident. We had to use our towels to mop up the water, and then we were down to 3 towels. It was not good, and we knew the management company would only try to FIX the situation, but you cannot fix the shower's structure. Plus we were 20 minutes from civilization. We could not walk anywhere, and there was no grocery store nearby either. We were basically in a residential neighborhood, and you MUST have a car to get around.
We immediately moved to another location in Como that was much larger, more supportive for family, and near the restaurants and shops, and the same cost.
