The hotel was situated in the heart of town. Easy access to downtown.Great views from the balcony.The food was exceptional! The staff was curious and friendly with many of them speaking English.

This property was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and it delivered exactly what it promised. My only shock was - the rooms did not have any AC due to the historic nature of the building but thankfully the fan that was provided was sufficient for the room. Overall I will visit this hotel again!

Grand but disappointing hotel

The hotel is an icon of Pocos de Caldas. Outside and inside it is beautiful. Therefore it really is such a pity that the hotel was disappointing. The rooms are OK - but probably in need of modernisation. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in the city. Service is a serious issue - some staff are great but others appeared to have a bad attitude - one even swore. Another issue with the hotel is the way it seems to make simple things difficult with lots of bureaucracy - at times it is painful. Bureaucracy is a fact of life in Brazil - but there were instances where the hotel took it to a new level. If the hotel improved its service it would make a huge difference because it truly is iconic and mostly beautiful

People were wonderful, I loved every one, they worked hard, The food was great, breakfast was delicious, wonderful, but would be great if they had a omelette station! problems with my bedding, terribly pillows, and mattresses, I don't understand they don't have vacuums, but everything looks good and clean!

Would love to stay here again

Great hotel in the middle of the city. Everything is in walking distance, including gondola to the Christ statue. They also have an amazing buffet breakfast! Can't wait to stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to shops. Loved the breakfast. Room was nice. The hotel itself needs a lot of renovation. We used the pool, but there was a lot of noise from renovation, not very relaxing. It has seen better days.

As it is a city heritage, I understand that it is an old building. I even like it. But it's expensive, unkempt and dirty. The shower was disgusting, the tiles never get clean. I will never recommend this hotel again and I will never recommend it to anyone.

O hotel tem que renovar sua estrutura, não é pelo pretexto de ser tombado que nao pode ter conforto, pelo preço que cobra. Ventilador pequeno e portátil, nem para ser de parede ou teto. Quartos extremamente barulhento, banheiros pouquisso confortavels. Hotelaria dos qiartos extremamente parecido com hotel de beira de estrada Detalhes que nao se justifica por ser tombado aliado ao preço que cobra. Café da manhã aberto ao público não hospedado no hotel o que causa super lotação. E por derradeiro não tem estacionamento na propriedade oferecendo serviços de valet só para carros não para moto o que tive que caminhar muito para levar a moto e busca-la, o que foi bom para conhecer o estacionamento que é lamentável parece uma fabrica abandonada. Se sua intenção e se hospedar em um museu eu recomendo.
