「we were welcomed at reception by a very friendly and helpful staff member who explained everything regarding our bed and breakfast stay. Very interesting old hotel with period features, surprisingly quiet, immaculate room, comfortable bed, plenty of towels and all toiletries. Fantastic service at breakfast with huge choice of food and we also had a fabulous evening meal. Again, I cannot praise all the staff for their attentive service. I will return as soon as i can. Pony pasture viewed from ancient track The pasture was in excellent fettle while the old sunken track, not being a bridleway, was overgrown and ultimately impassable, despite being shown as a footpath on Landranger and Explorer. A stream, perhaps the Afon Bedw, flows in between.
