The best place in the area with the best food!

This is such a great stay, it is conveniently located very near Part entrance and it is really charming, food and restaurants are superb, the staff is very friendly and supportive and i think it is the best in the area

Beautiful Tranquil Spot close to Park

Beautiful spot - with lovely restaurant attached. We had a great dinner. Room comfortable with all you could need. Very close to Gate C of the park - you can leave your car at hotel and walk down. Only negative - I felt 15euro was very overpriced for breakfast. Given the very limited selection.

It is such a cute and cozy place. 5 min walk to national park entrance, yet very quiet. Staffs are all so nice, food was great, the large field with ping pong and soccer ball were also plus. Highly recommended

We had an amazing stay! The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The location has a playground for kids. The food was delicious and we had also a great breakfast and the best coffee! On top of that, it is only a few minutes walk from one of the entrance of the Plitvice national park, so we could leave our car on the car park all day and just walk there to enjoy this wonderful park!

Etno Gardens at Plitvice Lakes has a great location. You can get a entrance ticket to gate 1 and then just walk 15 minutes thru gate 3 into the park. From gate 3 your have the option of either doing the upper (our favorite) or lower lakes. Be warned that road to the resort property is narrow. The room we had was also very nice and the staff was helpful. There were two aspects I didn’t like though. We had a kitchenette but no kitchenware. No plates, utensils, coffee maker…. They have a restaurant, but it is nice just to relax in the room and save some $ too. The second was some minor fixes that needed to be made, but weren’t. Some lights bulbs needed to be replaced and some outlets didn’t work. Of course, the outlets were where we wanted to use them. Otherwise it is an excellent choice if you want to stay near PL.

This is a very cute property and close to the Plitvice Lakes. The young staff was very responsive to all our needs and they were cute. It is like a charming lodge. The air-conditioning was poor; there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom which make it a little bit hot on the night we were there. You can walk to the lake from this location.

Peaceful and tranquil

I loved the Green Garden House. At first I was a little taken aback because of the intricate way to get to the place. Once I was there, I loved it. It was quiet, clean, beautiful and run by an amazing staff. These young men who run the place are very eager to help you with any information that you may need. The place is located close to Plitvice National Park. The room I stayed was small but comfortable and had a balcony with great views to the surrounding mountains. They only accept cash payments but there is an ATM not even 100 meters away next door. If you come by car, there are two markets about a kilometer and a half away. They have anything you may want to buy for a snacks, or when you have the munchies. Something you must know if you are heavily hooked on technology, the house has Wifi but your phone may not have any signal once you are on the mountains.

Great location - but go see park early or late

Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. Great location at the opposite end of the park from where the mass tourists arrive. We stayed in an apartment in one of the renovated original buildings and found everything to be in great condition - except for the wifi that was practically non-existing in the room. Tip for visiting the park: get your park entry pass the day before and go real early (6-7am) or late in the afternoon (after 4pm). In between the place is a tourist nightmare as they let way too many people into the park. Official opening hours for the park is 8am but if you have your pass you can go whenever you want.

The three star accommodations were really three star - no special frills. However, the location and the service (as well as the restaurant) were exceptional. Bear in mind that cash is the only form of payment, though they take both Euros and Kuna (Croatia).
