Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Die Zimmer passen zum Charme des ganzen Hauses und bieten alles, was man braucht. Alles war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das ganze ringsum ist liebevoll und schön gestaltet. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und die Gegend ist sicher. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Nah am Strand, aber auch schnell in der Stadt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die tollen Gastgeber. Uns wurden viele Informationen und Tipps zu allen möglichen Aktivitäten gegeben und wir haben dadurch viel mehr von der Gegend entdecken können. Dies hat den Aufenthalt richtig schön gemacht. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker. Toll waren auch die Damen, die das Frühstück gebracht und zubereitet haben. Alle waren sehr herzlich und nett. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und danken für die schöne Zeit!

Slice of paradise in Plett

The Finch Cottage was spacious, clean and cute. There is a bbq, pool and a beautiful yard (2 adorable dachshunds too). It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach in a great neighborhood. We walked to dinner as well. Bernie and Adrienne are really helpful and suggested Monkeyland and Birds of Eden. Loved them both. We also enjoyed Robberg Nature Reserve which is just a few minutes away. The breakfast was over the top and plentiful which is good because my daughter is a big eater! Not sure what kind of coffee the have but it was delicious. This is one of the best places we stayed in South Africa!

I had a wonderful stay at this little place. The owner could not be warmer and nicer. She provided tons of information about an area, restaurants and so on. She was always willing to answer questions. The place itself location a bit outside of the core of the town in a quiet residential area (which I liked). The beach is just 5 min walk away. My room was a cottage with separate entrance and a deck, so it was very secluded. The cottage itself was very well maintained. There was a separate lounging area with fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom. Secure parking is free to all guests, good breakfast is also included (made to order eggs). Overall a very nice place and I'll be happy to come back.

Wunderbare Unterkunft in Plettenberg Bay.

Tolle Unterkunft mit mehr als freundlichen Gastgebern. Schöne Zimmer in ruhiger Lage, würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Zum Strand sind es wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Wir waren zu viert als Familie dort und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Die Eigentümer haben uns sehr nett empfangen und waren insgesamt auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll ausgestattet. Unsere Ferienwohnung war perfekt. Frühstück war erstklassig. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Perfect.

The very friendly and helpful owners, Adrienne and Bernie, set the tone for our delightful two night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. A large and comfortable room was enhanced by the sherry which was provided for guests. Breakfast was everything you would wish it to be. We enjoyed the restaurant on the edge of town which was recommended and isn’t too far away. Everything about Bayside Lodge was to a high standard. Playing with their dachshunds was fun. You will certainly not be disappointed if you stay here.

Traumhaftes bed & breakfast mit tollen Besitzern

Das b&b liegt mitten in einer sehr reichen Wohngegend und ist daher absolut sicher. Wir wurden gleich bei der Ankunft total nett empfangen von den beiden Besitzern und Haben uns daher gleich Wohlgefühlt. beide sind super hilfsbereit und haben tolle Tipps. Wir waren im finch cottage und das war traumhaft. Das b&b ist total sauber und hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir waren super happy und können es nur weiterempfehlen! Absolut toll!

Sehr liebevolles, klassisches B&B. Die herzlichen Gastgeber wohnen im Erdgeschoss, die Zimmer für die Gäste sind oben. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen und haben sofort wertvolle Tipps und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen und Restaurants bekommen. Frühstück hervorragend, Zimmer/Bad groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Lage ist super: gutes und sicheres Wohnviertel, viele Restaurants in der Nähe, Strand in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

We had a very nice stay at the bayside lodge. The hotel is owned by a nice couple who took care of everything and provided a lot of useful information about the area and things to do. We booked the cottage which in the backyard and offers a little kitchen and a big bathroom. The bedroom has underfloor heating which was great for the colder temperatures in august. As we booked the cottage for three people one was sleeping at the extendable couch in the living room, but as we already expected that it was not a problem at all. The offered breakfast buffet was very rich with fresh fruit, cereal, cheese, meat, toast and little pastries. Additionally warm dishes as eggs, bacon or pancakes could be ordered. The hotel is in a good area and the beach is in walking distance (3 min).
