"We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. Coming from America, I truly appreciated the local experience, and his son was the first person that I actually was able to speak to in the outback of the Territory. Staying in this beautiful home in the fields of sugarcane to get a true experience. Also visit leader price market at the bottom of the street! "

"This was probably a one-off situation that could have been avoided with proper advance notice. In the week leading up to our arrival, we received three notifications asking us to check in and pay for our stay—this was confusing, as I had already paid. Once I replied stating that I would settle any remaining balance at check-in, the notifications stopped. Upon arrival, it was clear the hotel was preparing to host a wedding.
