"The hotel itself is nice. It’s dated but clean. We booked this hotel partially because it was listed with air conditioning. We had a couple of very warm days and evenings and our room was hot. The air conditioning isn’t available until mid-May so we were told to open the windows instead. This helped the temperature but it was loud! The hotel is directly across the street from the train station. Overall we did not enjoy our stay. It was very uncomfortable and the staff wasn’t very helpful. "

"Abhorrent staff. I booked a stay for June which I immediately noticed was booked incorrectly for May instead. I was on the phone with them within 10 minutes of the booking to cancel/change my stay and the staff was extremely rude and would not refund me ANY of my money. On top of that the staff was incredibly unfriendly. I would avoid this place like the plague, they will try and swindle you."

"Hotel was clean and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was limited in variety but overall good. Was disappointed that the room was quite warm as the A/C wasn't switched on and needed to be done centrally. Also the hot water in the room was rather limited. There was a bottle of water provided but not replaced"

"Good location. Excellent breakfast - great range of high quality fresh foods. Restaurant and bar area great. Lovely staff. Rooms a bit basic and not keen on the shower and toilet cubicles. Depends what you want from a city hotel. We were not in the room a lot so the other strong points made it a good stay for us."

"Hotel Les Armures is a beautiful boutique gem in the heart of Geneva, right next to the Cathedral. It is charming and romantic, offering an intimate sense of place that larger luxury hotels often lack. Being right next to the owner’s famous fondue restaurant is a standout bonus for any stay. Where it Falls Short I cannot give it five stars because the amenities aren't at that level. Like other hotels in Geneva, the property feels a bit dated. Specifically, the bathroom requires climbing into a high-walled bathtub; my wife and I are in great shape and still found it awkward. It must be very impractical for children or seniors. Additionally, there is no gym on-site. Even more disappointing for a 5-star hotel, they do not provide free access to a nearby facility, only a discount. At this price point, I expect fitness access to be included. Verdict Les Armures has plenty of soul and attentive service. However, the dated bathroom setup and lack of modern facilities keep it from being a true 5-star experience. It’s a very good 4-star stay, but it doesn't quite hit the top-tier luxury mark."
